Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you in lifting up this burden before our Father and we stand with you in asking for His healing touch upon your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory. We understand how distressing it is when symptoms return after you had hoped you were healed, and how this brings anxiety to your soul and fear about what might be found. We bring your specific concerns before the Lord, that there would be no cancer or tumor in your mouth or on your tonsils, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue and the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear, and that you would be restored to speak freely and without pain or fear.

We are reminded that the Lord is our healer. Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We cling to His promise, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and to the truth that He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We also take comfort that He is near to the anxious heart. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7, and we remember His word, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, asking for Your mercy and healing. You know this need intimately, every tissue of the tongue and tonsils, every concern about a coating or lesion, every fear of cancer. We ask in Jesus name that You would calm this troubled soul with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. Lay Your healing hand upon the mouth and tongue and tonsils, cleanse away the white coating and cause the white lesion to disappear. We ask that examinations would show no cancer and no tumor, and that complete healing would come so that speech would be free and clear again for Your glory. Forgive us for any fear that has taken hold and help us to trust in Your goodness and Your timing. We ask for wisdom for any doctors and medical care involved, that they would be Your instruments for good, and we pray for faith to endure even when healing seems delayed. We thank You that by His wounds we have been healed 1 Peter 2:24 and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We trust this need into Your loving hands and ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily and to also seek wise medical evaluation to have these changes examined and monitored, for God often works through the skill of physicians as well as through His direct touch. Keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer, resting in His presence, and speaking His promises over your body. We will continue to stand with you, believing for His peace to guard your heart and for His healing to be made complete in you.

We've been thinking of you and praying since we read your note. Waiting and watching symptoms come and go, especially in your mouth where you feel it with every word and swallow, can wear down your peace. It makes sense that your soul feels unsettled and that you long to speak freely again.

We join you in asking Jesus to calm your heart and to bring healing to your tongue and tonsils for His glory. We are also praying for clear answers and for wisdom for those caring for you.

If you have not already, we gently encourage you to let a medical professional, such as your primary care doctor or an ENT, take a look soon. It can help to bring a trusted friend or family member with you and to write down when you first noticed the coating and lesion, how it has changed, and any other symptoms, so you can share it clearly. You do not have to carry the worry alone while you wait.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift our friend to You. You know this mouth and body You created, and You see the fear about what this might be. Please calm their soul with Your nearness, guide their care, and grant healing as You will. Give them rest and a renewed voice to speak. Amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord and we join you in prayer for your tongue, mouth and tonsils, that the Lord would calm your soul and show His healing power for His own glory.

You ask for peace in a time of fear and sore trial, and the word of the Lord meets you there, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace is not far off, but a present possession even when sorrows surge round. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus and to rest your mind upon Him is rest. Bear your sorrow with Him, stay your mind upon Him, and trust in His promised strength, for that touch of personal faith brings peace to the soul.

We also hear your prayer for healing, that there would be no cancer or tumour, that the white coating on the sides of your tongue would be gone and the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear, that you might be healed and speak freely again. We are reminded that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves are full of healing virtue. It is written, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. He took our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one.

Therefore fear not, for this is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. The Lord Himself whispers to His poor servant, Fear not, I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob. Fear not, for I am with you. It would be disobedience to give way to fear, for fear is weakening and dishonors God. Labour to get rid of fear as much as possible, and trust in promised strength.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this suffering one. Calm the troubled soul and keep the mind in perfect peace as it is stayed upon You. Lay Your pardoning and healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. If it be Your will, let no cancer or tumour be found, cause the white coating and the white lesion to pass away, and restore health that this tongue may speak freely to Your praise. We ask not from merit but from the abundance that is in Christ, whose stripes bring healing and whose blood brings peace. Grant faith to trust You fully, and take away all fear, for You have said, Fear not, I will help you. Do this for Your glory, that this healing, whether in this life or in perfect wholeness hereafter, may declare Your goodness. Continue to seek the care of the physician as God provides, while looking above all to the great Physician of soul and body. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and peace. Amen.
