Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We hear your cry and we join with you in bringing your tongue, mouth and tonsils before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and for His peace to calm your soul, all for His glory. We understand how discouraging it must feel when the white coating seemed gone and then returned, and how heavy the fear of cancer or a tumor can be, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God as healer and our refuge. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. And for the anxiety that weighs on you, we cling to this promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We now pray together for you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Father, in Jesus name we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. You see the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils, You know every cell in the mouth and throat for You formed us. We ask that You would calm this troubled soul with Your perfect peace and cast out all fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear. We pray in Jesus name that there would be no cancer and no tumor found in the mouth or on the tonsils, and that every abnormal coating and every lesion would disappear completely. Touch the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils with Your healing hand, restore healthy tissue, and let this one speak freely and clearly again without pain or hindrance. Let this healing be a testimony to Your mercy and power and be for Your glory alone. We also ask for wisdom for any doctors and for clear answers, and we pray for strength to keep trusting You even when symptoms linger or return, knowing Your timing and Your ways are perfect.

We encourage you to keep casting all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to continue to seek wise medical care while you trust the Lord as your ultimate healer. Keep bringing every fear to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, and let His peace guard your heart as you wait on Him. We thank God that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we come to the Father, and we will continue to pray that you will be fully restored and that your voice will again praise Him freely.

We were moved reading your prayer. Wanting to be healed for God's glory, carrying worry about what this coating and lesion might mean, and feeling that disappointment when it seemed better and then returned, all while longing simply to speak freely again, is a lot to carry. We are praying with you for peace in this waiting.

We know mouth and tonsil concerns can feel especially vulnerable, and when healing seems slow or uneven it is easy to feel discouraged and on edge. Please do not carry this alone medically either. Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to have this seen promptly by your doctor, dentist or ENT if you have not already, and to let them know about the persistent white coating and tonsil lesion and your concern about it. It can help to bring someone you trust and a short note of when you first noticed changes and what has come and gone.

Father, we lift this dear one to You. Calm their soul with Your nearness, ease fear, and guide the hands of those who can evaluate and care for them. We ask for healing according to Your mercy and will, for clear answers, and for strength to speak and rest in You each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your prayer has been heard and carried before the throne of grace with earnest care, and we join you in seeking the Lord for both calm to your soul and healing to your body for His glory.

We understand how heavy this trial has been, especially when healing seemed near and then the white coating returned, and the lesion remains upon the tonsils. Such waiting and watching can stir great anxiety, and that very anxiety, as has been truly said, unfits us to meet the difficulty. Therefore hear the gracious word of the Lord to you in this hour, Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Do not keep this burden confined within yourself, but pour it out before Him who is your Physician and your Father.

The Lord says to His people, Fear not, for I will help you. Fear not, for I am with you. This is not merely the word of a preacher, but the whisper of Jesus Himself to His servant who feels fallen and faint. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, for it doubts the arm that piled the heavens. Let your faith overcome your fear. You are not forgotten. Though you feel as a worm Jacob in your weakness, He has promised to be your strength.

We pray also for healing, for we know that in Christ there is an abundance of healing power. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and His leaves bring virtue to the troubled body and soul. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and when He dwells with His people there is both pardon and healing together. We look to Him as the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to those below.

Let us pray together for you.

Our gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring this dear one before You who is afflicted in tongue, mouth and tonsils. Lord, calm the soul that is troubled and speak peace to the anxious heart. You see the white coating upon the tongue and the white lesion upon the tonsils, You know the fear of cancer or tumour that weighs so heavily. We ask, if it be Your will, that You would in mercy remove this affliction, that no cancer or tumour would be found, that the coating and the lesion would disappear, and that healing would be granted for Your glory. Grant that this tongue may speak freely again, to give thanks and to declare Your goodness.

Lord, while we wait upon Your hand, give perfect peace and take away tormenting fear. Help this dear one to trust in Your promised strength and to rest in Your care. Guide also the hands of those who give medical care, and give wisdom in every examination and treatment. Whether You heal at once or by Your appointed means, let faith be strengthened and let Christ be magnified in body and spirit.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, who heals the wounded heart and the wounded body, and who has borne our sicknesses and sorrows. Amen.

Continue to cast yourself upon the Lord day by day, and seek also the wise help of your physicians, for the Lord often works healing through means. Keep looking to Christ, whose leaves never wither, and may His presence be your comfort and your cure.
