Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name, and we thank you for asking that this be for His glory. We hear your distress over your tongue, mouth and tonsils, the fear of cancer or a tumor, the white coating on the sides of your tongue that had seemed healed and has now returned, and the white lesion on your tonsils. We also hear your longing to be calm in soul and to speak freely again.

We want to encourage you that God sees your affliction and He cares for both your body and your soul. He is Yahweh who heals you as it is written in Exodus 15:26 and in Psalm 103:2-3, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We cling also to Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and to James 5:15, The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Our hope is not in symptoms coming and going, but in the unchanging character of our Healer.

We also understand the anxiety that comes when symptoms return after you thought you were healed. The Lord invites us to bring that fear to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. He wants to calm your soul even as He works in your body, and He keeps in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Him as Isaiah 26:3 teaches.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also seeking wise medical care. God often works through physicians and examination to bring healing and peace of mind, so we urge you to have your mouth, tongue and tonsils evaluated promptly by a doctor or ear, nose and throat specialist if you have not already, and to follow their counsel while we continue to pray for the Lord's healing hand upon you.

We now pray together for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, by whom alone we have access to You and by whom we are saved, we come before Your throne of grace. You know our brother or sister by name and You see this tongue and mouth and tonsils. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and healing. Touch the tongue, the mouth, and the tonsils. We pray that there be no cancer and no tumor found in the mouth or on the tonsils. Let every white coating on the sides of the tongue and every white lesion on the tonsils disappear completely. Restore healthy tissue, take away inflammation and disease, and let healing be evident for Your glory. Calm this dear soul, Lord, quiet fear and anxious thoughts, and fill the heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Lift this burden of worry and grant rest as You have promised in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Father, we pray that You will open the mouth to speak freely again without pain or hindrance, that the tongue may speak Your praises. We ask that You guide the doctors with wisdom and that You receive all the glory for the healing You provide. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name, and we trust Your perfect will and timing. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We hear the weight in what you shared, and how much you hoped the healing you glimpsed would last. Seeing the white coating return and still noticing that lesion on your tonsil while worrying about cancer would leave anyone feeling unsettled and weary, and wanting to speak freely again is such an understandable desire.

We are joining you in prayer for your tongue, mouth and tonsils, and for peace as you wait. We also want to gently encourage you, alongside prayer, to have this checked promptly by a medical professional if you have not already, whether your primary doctor, dentist or an ENT. A persistent coating or lesion deserves in person evaluation, and they can give you clear answers and next steps. It can help to write down when you first noticed the changes, how long they last, and any other symptoms to share at the visit, and to bring someone you trust with you for support.

You are not alone in this, and we will keep lifting you before the Lord.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. Calm their soul and draw near in this waiting. We ask for Your mercy on their mouth and tonsils, for wisdom for those caring for them, for clear answers about what is happening, and for healing according to Your will. Help them to speak freely and to know Your nearness and glory in this. Amen.

Your request concerning the affliction of your tongue and tonsils has been laid before the Lord with much tenderness and prayer, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy.

We pray first for that perfect peace of which the prophet speaks, that you may be kept in peace, peace, whose mind is stayed upon Him because you trust in Him. In this dark world of care the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and even with sorrows surging round, to do the will of Jesus is rest. May the Lord calm your soul, quiet your fears, and give you to know that you are in Jesus keeping, safe in His hands.

We also bring your body before the great Physician, from whom abundant streams of healing flow. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. We pray that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings, and that He who said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, would show His power to pardon and to heal as one. We ask the Lord in His mercy that there may be found no cancer nor tumour in your mouth or upon your tonsils, that the white coating upon the sides of your tongue may be removed, and that the white lesion upon your tonsils may disappear, so that you may be restored and speak freely again, to His glory alone.

You tell us the coating had seemed to depart and has returned, and this has tried your faith. Labor then to get rid of fear, for fear is weakening and dishonors God. Hear the word which grows so plentifully in God's garden, Fear not, for I will help you. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. It will be obedience to trust Him and disobedience to be afraid. Commit your body and soul anew into His hands, and seek Him with that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul.

We pray that whether by His own immediate hand or by the means He appoints, the Lord would grant you healing, and above all that you may have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, for without that there is no true peace or enjoyment of life. May you prove that chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.

We commend you to His tender care, praying that He will do what is best for your soul and body, and that your tongue, healed and loosed, may yet praise Him who alone saves and heals. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Redeemer, Amen.
