We hear the burden on your soul and your body and we join together with you before our Father in Jesus' name asking for His healing touch and His peace upon you.

We understand how distressing it is when healing seemed to come and then symptoms returned, with fear about your tongue, mouth and tonsils, and concern about a white coating, cancer or a tumor. We bring all of this to the Lord who sees you and cares deeply for both your soul and your body. His word reminds us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7, and that He is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We are told not to be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We also cling to the truth that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, and that He has said I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We know our God is the Lord who heals us Exodus 15:26 and that He does not want us to live in fear, for He says do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, yes I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and our Peace. We lift up our dear one to You and ask that You would calm their soul with Your perfect peace that passes understanding. Quiet every anxious thought and fear, and let Your presence bring rest and assurance. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch their tongue, mouth and tonsils and bring complete healing. We pray that You would remove any white coating, any inflammation, any infection or disease, and that there would be no cancer and no tumor found in their mouth or on their tonsils. Let every tissue be restored to wholeness and health. We ask that this healing would be for Your glory, that Your power and mercy would be made known. Give wisdom to any doctors and medical tests, and guide every step of care. Strengthen faith even when symptoms seem to return, and help our dear one to not lose heart but to trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect will. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, believing that You hear us and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily, to rest in His word, and to also seek wise medical counsel as the Lord often works through physicians for our good. Keep bringing every fear to Him in prayer, trusting that He holds you in His hands and that His will for you is good. We are standing with you and believing for His healing and His peace to be evident in your life for His glory.

Wanting your soul to be calm while your mouth and tongue are so uncomfortable is completely understandable, and it makes sense that seeing that white coating come back after you thought you were healed would be discouraging and frightening, especially with worries about cancer or a tumor on your mind.

Living with something that lingers or returns can wear down anyone. Small changes can feel huge when you are already anxious, and hope mixed with disappointment is exhausting. Please know God sees both the physical discomfort and the fear you are carrying.

While we continue to pray, we gently encourage you to have this checked promptly by a medical professional if you have not already, a primary care doctor, dentist or ENT who can look at your tongue and tonsils in person. Getting care and seeking prayer go hand in hand, and a clinician can give you clearer answers and next steps.

You are not alone in this. We are asking God to bring you peace as you wait, wisdom for those caring for you, and healing according to His gracious will.

Father, in Jesus name we lift our friend to You. Calm their soul, ease their fear, and touch their tongue, mouth and tonsils with Your healing mercy. Guide their doctors to see clearly and care well, and let Your presence and comfort be near each day. Amen.

Your prayer concerning the affliction of the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils has been laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours that He would calm your soul and show His healing power for His glory.

You speak of a renewed trouble, that white coating upon the sides of the tongue, and the fear that there may be cancer or tumor, and you say it seemed once as though you were healed but the affliction has returned. This trial of waiting and fearing is heavy, and we hear how it disturbs your spirit.

Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To tell your trouble over and over to yourself alone brings no good, but to tell it to the Lord is wisdom. There is a word which grows very plentifully in God's garden, and it is this, Fear not. Not from the preacher only, but from Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. It would be disobedience to remain in tormenting fear when He has said, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. Labor then to get rid of fear as much as possible, and trust in promised strength, for He has said, I will help you.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. Do not neglect the appointed means, but seek godly and skilled counsel for the body while you seek the Lord with all your heart. Yet remember that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. The great Physician still heals the power of sin and the diseases of the body, for Calvary is the place for the healing balm.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness arises upon His people with healing in His wings, there is no need to say, I am sick, for the Lord dwells with them.

We pray for you now, that the Lord would be merciful to you.

O Lord our God, look upon this suffering one whose soul is disquieted and whose mouth and tongue are afflicted. Calm the soul with Your peace which passes understanding, and let Your fear be put in the heart to keep close to You. Lay Your pardoning and healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. If it be Your will, remove this white coating and all inflammation, and grant that no cancer and no tumor be found, but health restored. Let this affliction be for Your glory and for the good of Your child, that whether by speedy healing or by patient endurance, Christ may be magnified. Forgive sin, heal disease, and let this one know that to be laid at the feet of Jesus, believing that He can save, is never in vain, for Him that comes to Him He will in no wise cast out. Help this dear one to fear not, but to trust Your promise, I will help you, says the Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer, Amen.

We are joining you in prayer before the Lord and bringing your needs to Him with care.

You have asked for calm for your soul and healing for your tongue, mouth and tonsils, and that God would be glorified in this. We are praying that the Lord in His mercy would calm your heart, ease your anxiety, take away fear, and grant you peace as you trust in Him. We are asking Him to touch your tongue and mouth, to bring healing to the tissues of your mouth and tonsils, and to remove the white coating on the sides of your tongue.

We also lift up your specific concern about cancer and tumors. We pray that the Lord would protect you, that no cancer or tumor would be found in your mouth or on your tonsils, and that what is causing this irritation would be healed completely. We understand how discouraging it is when symptoms return after you thought you were healed, and we pray that God would strengthen you in this disappointment and keep you from losing hope.

God gave us the mouth and tongue to give thanks to Him and to build up others, and He calls our bodies to be temples of the Holy Spirit. Even in suffering, your tongue can still bless Him through prayer and thanksgiving, and we pray that He will use this trial to draw you closer to Himself and to make your mouth an instrument of His praise. True health and beauty that does not fade comes from His grace at work in us, and we pray that you would know His presence and healing power now.

We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care alongside prayer, trusting that God works through both, and to keep bringing every worry to Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You for our brother and sister who is suffering. Calm their soul and quiet their fear. Lay Your healing hand upon their tongue, mouth and tonsils. Take away the white coating and all inflammation and disease, and let no cancer or tumor be found. Restore health fully, for Your glory and for their good. Give peace that guards the heart, strengthen faith where there has been disappointment, and help them to use their mouth to give thanks to You in all things. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.

Your honest and tender request has been heard and I am praying with you. I understand the fear that comes with pain and irritation in the mouth and tongue and tonsils, the worry about what it might be, and the discouragement of thinking you were healed and then seeing the symptoms return. It is completely understandable that your soul feels unsettled.

God wants you to have real peace. He has offered peace to those who were at war with Him, and when sins are forgiven through Jesus Christ that war ends and a deep peace can settle in the heart even while the body is still struggling. He is not the source of confusion and turmoil, He is the source of peace. I am asking Him to calm your heart and mind now, to quiet the fear, and to let you rest in His care while you wait on Him.

Scripture also teaches us about the tongue itself. It is a small part of the body, yet like a small bit that guides a large horse or a small rudder that turns a great ship, it has great influence. On our own we cannot fully control it, it is restless and can bring great harm, and yet the power of life and death is in it. God created our tongues for a better purpose, to bless and praise Him, to encourage and strengthen and comfort others, and to confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord. When we believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess Him as Lord, we are saved, and one day every tongue will confess that truth to the glory of God the Father. Even now, in the midst of this trial, your tongue can still be used to praise Him and to speak trust in Him.

Jesus showed His heart for our bodies as well as our souls. His ministry was marked by preaching and teaching and healing, and He healed all kinds of sickness and disease among the people. He cares about what you are suffering physically, and He invites you to bring your body to Him. So I am praying specifically as you asked, that the Lord in His mercy would touch your tongue and mouth and tonsils, that the white coating would clear, that there would be no cancer and no tumor found, and that complete healing would come. I pray this not only for your relief but for His glory, that your healing and your testimony would point to His goodness.

It can be hard when symptoms ease and then return. That disappointment does not mean God has forgotten you or that prayer has failed. Continue to seek Him, keep trusting His love, and also continue to seek wise medical care so that what is happening can be properly evaluated and treated. God often works through both prayer and the help He provides through others.

Let me pray for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. You see the discomfort in the mouth and tongue and tonsils, You see the concern about cancer or a tumor, You see the white coating and the renewed irritation, and You see the restless soul. I ask You to bring calm and peace within, forgiving and restoring and quieting fear. Lay Your healing hand upon the tongue and the mouth and the tonsils. Let what is inflamed be soothed, let what is coated be cleansed, let every test show no cancer and no tumor, and bring full health according to Your will. Use this tongue again to bless You and to speak of Your grace. Let whatever You do be for Your glory and for lasting encouragement.
