Today's Scripture

“Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted” (Matthew 13:8).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

There are many kinds of seeds we can sow, but do you know what produces the best crop? The seed of God's Word planted on the soil of our hearts. The more of the Word you take into your heart, the more abundant harvest it will produce. Our job, as believers, is to make sure we are good ground.

The scripture tells us there are things that can choke the seed of the Word out of our hearts. The cares of this world, greed and selfishness act as thorns that stop the seed from growing. It also tells us that in order for the seed to take root, we need to stand strong during the difficult times when persecution and challenges come.

If you have hard or dry places in your heart today, God wants to soften those areas. He promises in Ezekiel that He will take out the stony, hard heart, and He will replace it with a new heart, a heart that is open to Him. And when you have an open and receptive heart, you are good ground! The seed of the Word will take root and grow, and it will produce an abundant harvest of blessing in every area of your life!

Please pray for my friends who need dry spots replaced with new heart: Denny Lewen; Joe N King, Donald Dawson Sr; Rollins family, Lisa, Joanne, my brother/wife-Chantel/Darrell, Herman Fredericks, Malcolm Carroll, Tony Yates, and Chantel. In jesus name Amen.

Lord, I pray for all of these people, that their heart would be receptive to Your word, that the soil would be prepared for a great harvest, and that they would be watered by the Holy Spirit. Lord, may we all have our hearts receptive to You and prepare ourselves for Your bountiful harvest. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Heavenly Father,

Please turn these hearts and heads toward You.

In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Father I lift these dear ones to you and ask that you touch them with your loving grace and mercy, for your glory in Jesus name.

Lord we lift up these whos heart has turned away form your will and way. I pray that your gracious hand be laid upon them and that you bless each and every person with the Christ like words that need to be said to these lost sheep.

Thank you Lord Jesus

Amen

Lord Jesus, I pray we are all made of fertile soil, so we can take in the seed of your word God and so we can produce a harvest that brings millions and millions to you and your kingdom Jesus. That would be my ultimate goal Lord, but you know what is best for each and every one of your children. Thank you Lord, Amen.
