Matthew 12:24

Romans 5:5

James 1:2-4

You can finish this race, a lot of times our trials come through God testing us. And whether we will still follow him even when it gets tough.
Luke 14:26
“If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple
You must put Christ first in order to become his disciple.
Luke 14:33 those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.
Give up everything to follow Christ.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
