We rejoice with you as you celebrate a closer relationship with your loved one, and we join you in giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for his work in your life. We are reminded of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
As we pray for your family's protection, healing, and greater faith, let's remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We stand with you in prayer, asking God to deliver you from evil and to strengthen your faith. Let's pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for the work You are doing in their relationship, drawing them closer to each other and to You. Lord, we ask for Your continual protection over their family, for healing where it is needed, and for an increase in their faith.
We pray that You would deliver them from all evil and temptation, and help them to walk in Your ways. We ask, in agreement with our brother/sister, that you will keep them from temptation and deliver them from the evil one. We ask that you would cause their love to abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
We encourage you to continue to put God at the center of your relationship, remembering that a wise man/woman wins souls. A spouse is a blessing from the Lord, and we encourage you to pursue this relationship in a way that honors God and aligns with biblical principles and to look for a spouse rather than a partner.
