We notice that while you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, your focus seems to be directed primarily toward the Heavenly Father without acknowledging the full triune nature of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, or the essential role of Christ as our mediator. Scripture is clear that there is no other name by which we may approach the Father except through Jesus Christ. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6 WEB). It is only by His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to the throne of grace. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
We also want to gently encourage you to bring your silent requests before the Lord with specificity and boldness. The Word tells us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). God already knows the desires of your heart, but He invites you to lay them before Him in prayer so that you may experience His peace and see His hand at work.
Let us come together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we are grateful for the privilege of approaching Your throne through the blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up the silent requests of our brother/sister in Christ, trusting that You know the deepest longings of their heart. We ask that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and clarity as they seek Your will in every area of their life. Father, we pray for Your provision, protection, and peace to surround them. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge You, knowing that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Lord, we also pray that You would strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You. May they find comfort in Your Word and encouragement in Your promises. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart, and we declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your truth and experience the fullness of life that You have promised.
Father, we ask that You would align their desires with Your will and guide them in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33 WEB). We pray that they would grow in their relationship with You and that their life would be a testament to Your glory.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
