Today's family prayer
We lift this family before the throne of grace, grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We rejoice that you recognize the authority of Christ over all evil, for He has already disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
Father in Heaven, we stand together in agreement, praying for this family’s salvation, healing, and protection. We ask that You draw each member closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and walk in obedience to Your Word. Your Word declares, *"If you love me, keep my commandments"* (John 14:15), and we pray that this family would delight in Your law, meditating on it day and night so that they may prosper in all they do (Psalm 1:2-3).
Lord, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over this household, that no evil may come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Deliver them from every form of deception, fear, and bondage, for *"the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil"* (1 John 3:8).
We also lift up any areas where this family may be struggling with sin or disobedience. If there are habits, attitudes, or relationships that do not align with Your Word, we ask that You convict their hearts with Your Holy Spirit. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or division, we pray for reconciliation and unity, for You command us to *"be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32). If there are any ungodly influences or compromises in their lives, we ask that You remove them and replace them with godly wisdom and discernment.
Father, we pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Your Word says, *"By His stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over every sickness, pain, or infirmity in this family. Heal their bodies, minds, and spirits, and restore them to wholeness. Protect them from every snare of the enemy, and surround them with Your angels for their defense (Psalm 34:7).
We also pray for their financial provision, that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them wisdom in managing their resources and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
Lord, we ask that You strengthen the bonds of love and faith within this family. May they be a light in their community, reflecting Your love and truth to those around them. Equip them to share the gospel boldly, for *"faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (Romans 10:17). May their home be a place of peace, joy, and worship, where Your presence dwells richly.
We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we stand in the gap for them, praying that they would grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
