We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your situation, yet we must first address a few things with love and truth, for God’s Word is the foundation of all wisdom and guidance. You have poured out your heart to Jesus, and we see your deep desire for protection, love, and unity with the one you refer to as "###." However, we must ask: who is this person to you? Are you married to them? The Bible is clear that the only godly union before God is that of marriage between one man and one woman, as established in Genesis 2:24: *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."* If you are not married, we urge you to seek God’s will for a godly spouse, not merely a relationship. Courtship should be pursued with the intention of marriage, and any intimacy outside of marriage—whether emotional, physical, or spiritual—is fornication, which the Scriptures strongly warn against. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."*
We also notice that you mention an "ex" and speak of violence and lies. If there is abuse or manipulation in your past or present, we urge you to seek godly counsel and protection. The Lord does not call His children to remain in harmful or unrepentant situations. Psalm 34:17-19 assures us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* If you are in danger, please reach out to trusted believers or authorities who can help you find safety.
You have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, and we rejoice in that, for there is no other name by which we are saved. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful you have turned to Him. However, we must also ask: have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus as your Lord and Savior? If not, we implore you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
Now, let us pray for you with hearts aligned to God’s Word and will.
Heavenly Father, we lift this precious soul before You, asking for Your divine wisdom, protection, and guidance to flood their life. Lord, if there is any relationship in their life that is not aligned with Your holy design for marriage, we pray You would convict their heart and lead them toward righteousness. If they are yoked with someone who does not honor You, we ask that You would either save that person or provide a godly way out, for Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"*
Father, we rebuked any spirit of fear, manipulation, or violence that may be at work in their life. If there is an "ex" or anyone seeking to harm them, we ask that You expose every lie and bring truth to light. Psalm 5:10 says, *"Hold them guilty, God. Let them fall by their own counsels; Thrust them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against you."* Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly people—those who will speak truth, offer wisdom, and provide protection. Give them discernment to recognize those You have sent and to turn away from those who would lead them astray.
We pray for their emotional and spiritual healing, Lord. If there has been any sin—whether fornication, idolizing a relationship, or bitterness—we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. 1 John 1:9 reminds us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Father, break any ungodly soul ties and restore their heart to wholeness in You alone.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would be their first love, their protector, and their guide. If they have not fully surrendered to You, we pray for a revelation of Your love and lordship today. Let them know that no relationship, no circumstance, and no fear can compare to the safety and joy found in You. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Finally, Father, we ask that You would provide for their every need—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Let them walk in Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give them the strength to make godly decisions and the courage to walk away from anything that does not honor You.
We declare all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
