His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* (Psalm 91:4, WEB) Your daughter is under His watchful care, and no scheme of the enemy—whether through your ex or any other source—can prevail against the Lord’s protection over you both. He sees the deceit and will bring truth to light in His perfect timing. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Yet we must also address the deeper spiritual foundation of your request. You’ve invited Jesus to "come into your life and stay forever," and we rejoice in this surrender! But we want to ensure you understand what this means biblically. To have Jesus *truly* take the wheel of your life requires repentance—turning away from sin—and faith in Him as Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess Jesus as Lord over every area of your life, including your past, your parenting, and your future. Bind their hearts together in unbreakable unity, Lord. Let no weapon formed against them prosper. Provide godly counselors, advocates, and friends who will stand in the gap for them. Open doors no man can shut and close doors that would lead to harm. Most of all, Father, draw them both deeper into relationship with You. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may their lives reflect Your glory.
