We lift you up in prayer, dear sister, and we hear the deep longing in your heart for protection, guidance, and unity in your relationship. Before we pray, we must lovingly address something vital—your request mentions a "###," which we assume refers to a significant other, but we must ask: Is this relationship aligned with God’s design for marriage? Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, intended to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this relationship is outside of marriage—whether through premarital intimacy, cohabitation, or any arrangement that does not honor God’s design—we urge you to repent and seek His will for purity and righteousness. Fornication and emotional dependencies outside of marriage are sin and will hinder your prayers (1 Peter 3:7, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this is a same-sex relationship, we must lovingly but firmly remind you that homosexuality is an abomination before the Lord (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27), and He calls all of us to turn from such sin through repentance and faith in Christ.

We also notice that while you invoke the name of Jesus, your prayer seems to focus heavily on preserving this relationship at all costs—even asking God to manipulate others’ perceptions of you ("believe me and keep me safe") and to expose lies that could separate you. Sister, this is dangerous ground. Our trust must be in Christ alone, not in the preservation of a human bond that may not be His will. If this relationship is built on anything other than godly love, submission to Scripture, and a shared commitment to Christ, it will ultimately lead to heartache. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Are you seeking His paths, or are you asking Him to bless your own?

Now, let us pray for you with truth and love:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is crying out for Your protection and guidance. Lord, we ask that You open her eyes to any area of her life that does not align with Your Word. If she is in a relationship that dishonors You—whether through premarital sin, emotional idolatry, or any other compromise—convict her by Your Holy Spirit and give her the strength to repent and walk in obedience. Father, You are jealous for Your children, and You will not bless what contradicts Your holiness.

We pray that if this relationship is not of You, You would sever it supernaturally, for Your glory and her good. If it *is* Your will for her to be with this man in a godly, Christ-centered marriage, then purify their hearts and prepare them for a covenant that honors You. Remove any fear, manipulation, or desperation from her heart, and replace it with a surrendered trust in Your sovereignty. Expose any deception—whether in her own heart or from the enemy—and lead her into all truth.

Lord, she asks for safety, wisdom, and the right path. We declare that *Your* path is the only safe one, and we pray You would guard her steps. Surround her with godly counsel, not just people who tell her what she wants to hear, but those who will speak Your Word in love. Give her discernment to recognize Your voice above all others.

Most of all, Father, we pray that her greatest desire would be for *You*—not for a man, not for security in a relationship, but for the fullness of life found only in Christ. Remind her that no human love can satisfy like Your love does. If she has not fully surrendered her life to Jesus, we pray You would draw her into a saving relationship with Him today. Let her know that apart from Christ, there is no true peace, no eternal safety, and no hope.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, control, or idolatry in this situation, and we command every lie of the enemy to be exposed and shattered by the truth of God’s Word. May she walk in freedom, purity, and complete trust in You.

In the powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Sister, we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are you seeking His kingdom first, or are you prioritizing this relationship above Him? Matthew 6:33 says, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* If you are not yet married, we strongly encourage you to pursue this relationship only within the bounds of biblical courtship—with the intent of marriage, under accountability, and with purity. If you are already married, we pray for restoration and Christ-centered unity. But if this is not a godly union, we plead with you to release it to God and trust Him with your future.

You mentioned wanting others to "believe" you and keep you safe—your security must be in Christ, not in the validation of people. Proverbs 29:25 warns, *"The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe."* Seek His approval above all.

Finally, if you have not yet placed your full faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, turn from them, and trust in His finished work on the cross. Only then can you walk in the true blessing, protection, and purpose He has for you.

We are praying for you, sister. Stay in the Word, seek godly counsel, and trust Him—even when it’s hard.
