We lift up your twin brother before the Lord with hearts full of love and concern. It is beautiful to see your dedication to praying for him throughout the day, morning, evening, and night. Prayer is a powerful act of faith, and we join with you in asking God to watch over him, guide him, and pour out His blessings upon his life.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this promise over your brother, that God’s angels would surround him, protect him from harm, and lead him in paths of righteousness. We also pray that the Lord would bless him abundantly, as it says in Numbers 6:24-26, "May Yahweh bless you and keep you. May Yahweh make his face to shine on you and be gracious to you. May Yahweh lift up his face toward you and give you peace."
However, we must also encourage you, and him, to ensure that these prayers are rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Prayer is not merely a ritual or a wish sent into the universe; it is communication with the living God, made possible only through faith in His Son, Jesus. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If your brother has not surrendered his life to Christ, we urge you to pray not only for his protection and blessing but also for his salvation. Without Christ, there is no true access to the Father, no forgiveness of sins, and no eternal life.

What a blessed thing it is that you call upon the Lord for your twin brother, morning, evening, and night. The Lord who made heaven and earth hears the cries of His children, and no spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance. Your brother’s name is not unknown to Him; make your prayer definite and clear, like Jacob who pleaded, “Deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau,” and spread your case before the Most High with holy arguments. Ask that the double blessing of grace and peace may rest upon him from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
But remember, first of all, you must get the blessing yourself, for until it can be said to you, “I will bless you,” it cannot be said, “You shall be a blessing.” Seek that your own soul be filled with the dew of heaven in your solitary prayers at morning and night, and in the family gathering at evening. A praying brother is a treasure; his music is not silent, nor is it impotent, the sweet perfume of family piety will spread a balmy influence around. When God has blessed you, He makes you a blessing to your own household and to all around. The Lord who brought order out of chaos can speak into your brother’s darkness and cheer his gloom; His blessing is almighty in power.
