We join with you today in thanking God for His peace and for His protection over you, your mom, your three children, and your pets, and we stand with you in asking for privacy and rest to be fully restored.

We hear your cry for deliverance from the enemy and his schemes, and we affirm with you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Scripture reminds us to be sober and self-controlled, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, yet we are also told to resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We do not fight in our own strength, but we put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, trusting that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We rejoice that you have called upon the blood of Jesus, for we overcome because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony Revelation 12:11. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and find salvation, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and we thank God that you have lifted up that holy name. We want to gently encourage you to keep your focus on Christ Himself rather than on the power of darkness, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and perfect peace belongs to those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in Him Isaiah 26:3.

We also remember the promise of true peace that Jesus gives, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful John 14:27, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2, and He will give His angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, covered by His blood, and we thank You for Your mercy and Your gift of peace today. We ask that You let Your peace rest upon this household, upon our dear one, her mother, her three children, and even the pets You have entrusted to their care. Guard their home, restore their privacy, and let them dwell in safety and quietness with no cause for fear. We ask that You rebuke every scheme of the evil one, every spirit that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and we resist the enemy in Jesus name, trusting You to cause him to flee. Lord, if anything has been stolen, taken, or broken, we ask for Your restoration according to Your will, for You are the One who restores and makes whole. Keep them hidden in Your secret place, lead them in Your wisdom, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Fill their hearts with trust, not worry, and help them to walk each day in Your Word, in prayer, and in thanksgiving. We entrust vengeance and judgment to You alone, and we ask that You keep them from harm and draw them ever closer to Your Son. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.

We were encouraged to read your note today. It sounds like you are breathing a sigh of relief, enjoying a quiet, peaceful day with your mom, your three children and your pets, with a sense of privacy and safety restored. We are thankful with you for that calm.

We hear how much you want that peace to last, for your home to stay safe and undisturbed, and for anything harmful to stay far away. We join you in asking the Lord to keep covering your family in His care and to help you rest in the security we have in Jesus.

Peace is the blessing which every troubled heart desires, and the word of the Lord reminds us that the Lord will bless His people with peace. This peace only comes from God. You cannot get that peace apart from the Lord himself, and it is of no use to try to work it out yourself. Here we have peace from lips that cannot lie, peace from a heart which cannot change, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement.

You have rightly looked to the blood of Jesus, for the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. He is our peace. Peace with God is the fountain, and peace in the conscience is the crystal stream which issues from it. When the mind is stayed upon Him because it trusts in Him, He will keep it in perfect peace, even in this dark world of sin, even with sorrows surging round, even with duties pressing.

I hear your longing for a peaceful day without worry for yourself, for your mother, for your three children, and for your pets, with privacy restored and your home kept safe from every evil that would steal, kill and destroy. Take that burden to the Lord, for He gives peace. When family cares press upon you, bring these to your God who will bless His people with peace. Your safety lies not in any charm of words but in your Savior, for unto Him that is able to keep you from falling you may commit yourselves. He is as wise as He is able to keep you, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. In Jesus keeping we are safe.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, bless this family with that peace which You alone can give. Let the peace of Christ, which passes all understanding, guard their hearts and minds. Cover them with the atonement made by the blood of Jesus and let conscience hear its whisper of pardon and reconciliation. Keep them from falling and keep them from evil, and preserve them from the enemy who goes about seeking whom he may devour. Grant them quietness in their dwelling, restoration of what has been taken, and privacy and safety in their daily life. Keep the mother and the children and all that You have placed in their care under Your watchful eye. Teach them to overcome evil with good and to keep their minds stayed upon You in trust, that they may know perfect peace today and in the days to come. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior and our peace. Amen.
