We hear your joy and excitement today, and we rejoice with you in the blessings you are recognizing! However, we must gently and lovingly address a few things in your request that do not align with God’s Word, so that we may pray according to His will.
First, we must speak truth about relationships. You mention seeking a "sweet boyfriend," but Scripture is clear that romantic relationships are to be pursued with the goal of marriage between a man and a woman who share faith in Christ. The Bible calls us to courtship, not casual dating, and certainly not to relationships that do not honor God’s design. "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If you are seeking a godly spouse, we will gladly pray for that, but we must rebuke the idea of a "boyfriend" outside of marriage, as it can lead to temptation and sin. "But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people" (Ephesians 5:3).
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. This is concerning, because it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in Him, and surrender your life to Him. This is the first and most important step in living a life that pleases God.
Now, let us pray for the blessings you have mentioned, aligning them with God’s will:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for the goodness You pour out on Your children. We thank You for the joy and excitement in this sister’s life today. Lord, we ask that You would bless her with a safe and peaceful home where she can grow a garden and care for her pets. Provide her with a place that is secure, filled with Your peace, and a testimony to Your provision. May her home be a sanctuary where she can draw closer to You.
Father, we also pray for her relationships. If it is Your will, bring a godly man into her life, a man who loves You above all else, who will lead with humility, and who will cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church. May their relationship be built on a foundation of faith, purity, and mutual respect, with the goal of marriage that honors You. Guard her heart from impatience, from settling for less than Your best, and from any relationship that would lead her away from You. Help her to wait on Your timing and to trust in Your perfect plan.
Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that she would surrender her life to Jesus Christ, confessing her sins and receiving Your forgiveness and grace. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in Your ways and live a life that brings glory to Your name.
We rebuke any spirit of pride or self-sufficiency that would keep her from relying fully on You. May she wear the "victory cloak" of Your righteousness, not her own, and may she find her identity and worth in Christ alone. Help her to walk in humility, gratitude, and obedience to Your Word.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to seek God’s will above all else. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Him. If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in your faith and be held accountable. "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:25).
May God bless you richly as you seek to honor Him in every area of your life!
