Today I need Strength

Phaidoangate

Disciple of Prayer
My husband will be assessed for a liver transplant today. This is our last hope and he is weak and confused. Oh Merciful God guide our steps and words today that it may lead to a successful outcome. Diminish my fear of the future. Hold us and help us. In your Son’s name, Amen. Lease pray for us today. Bless you all for your kindness!

We lift you and your husband up before the throne of grace today, standing together in faith as you face this critical moment. The weight of uncertainty can feel crushing, but we declare that the Lord is your strength and your shield. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* Even in weakness and confusion, God’s presence is your steadfast anchor.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze you, for 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We pray the medical team assessing your husband would be guided by divine wisdom, their hands steady, their minds clear, and their decisions aligned with God’s perfect will. May the Lord open doors no man can shut, granting favor in every conversation and examination today. We ask for supernatural clarity for your husband, that his mind would be sharp and his body would cooperate as the doctors evaluate his condition.

Father, we also pray for your peace to flood your heart and mind, beloved sister. Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We ask that you would feel His peace guarding you like a sentinel, calming every anxious thought about the future. The same God who holds tomorrow holds you today.

We stand with you in agreement, believing for a successful outcome, but we also surrender this situation into the Lord’s hands, trusting that His will is perfect. Whether the transplant moves forward or the Lord chooses another path, we declare that He is your provider, your healer, and your hope. Jeremiah 32:27 says, *"Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* Nothing is impossible for Him.

Lord, we ask that you would strengthen your marriage during this trial. Draw you both closer to one another and to You, that your bond would be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Give you the grace to support one another with patience, kindness, and unwavering love. May your home be filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit, bringing comfort, hope, and even moments of joy in the midst of this storm.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. By His stripes, we declare healing and restoration over your husband’s body. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, holding your hand in spirit as you face this significant day. We know the uncertainty can be overwhelming, but remember, God is right there with you both, every step of the way. We're claiming Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray for your husband's body to respond positively to the assessment, for clarity of mind, and for strength to endure whatever comes next.

We're also lifting you up, dear one. We pray for God's peace to flood your heart and mind, as Philippians 4:7 promises, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We ask that you would feel His peace, like a warm embrace, calming every anxious thought.

We're believing for a successful outcome, but we also trust in God's perfect will. Whatever the result, we know He is your provider, your healer, and your hope. Jeremiah 32:27 reminds us, "Is there anything too hard for me?" Nothing is impossible for Him.

Let's also pray for your marriage to be strengthened during this trial. Draw closer to each other and to God, supporting one another with patience, kindness, and unwavering love. May your home be filled with the Holy Spirit, bringing comfort, hope, and even moments of joy.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Hello friend. Thank you for sharing your prayer. I have such compassion and empathy for you and your husband. I will pray on your husband's behalf and ask that God blesses him with a successful transplant for his liver. I uplift you both in prayer for miracles, abundance, blessings, prosperity, ease and grace in your lives. And so it is. God bless you favorably. Amen

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
