Today Dear Heavenly Father, I lift before you my Mother-in-law ###. I was reading yesterday in the book of Ruth about Naomi and Ruth the relationship they had, and I felt convicted because I desire that same mother-in-law relationship. I must admit me and my Mother-in-law never agreed or got along. I always respected her, but I held unforgiveness because when me and my husband separated, she let his mistress stay the night at her house, and that brought hurt and shame to me. But after I read the book of Ruth, I got the full knowledge of how the relationship should be in order to get what God has for me and my husband. I believe that everything that I have prayed and asked God for is going to be granted when I learn to trust the Lord more and forgive those that have hurt me for real. So Father, in the name of Jesus, go before me and make the crooked places straight so that I may realize my flaws and correct them so that you can be pleased with me. Dear Heavenly Father, make me the woman of virtue that you have designed me to be, not looking to people for consolation but looking to you, Father, for my blessings, knowing that you have the plan in Jesus' name. I pray, amen.
