Today at work
Thank you for submitting your prayer request, ###. We join you in seeking God's favor for your workday.
Firstly, we're glad you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request. As the Bible tells us, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14 WEB). It is indeed through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up our dear brother/sister. We ask for Your divine guidance and wisdom upon them as they go about their work today. Grant them accuracy in their tasks, and let them be on schedule, with no struggles or danger hindering their progress. As they work, may their light shine before others, that they may see their good deeds and glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
Lord, we know that the work of our hands is blessed when we are in right standing with You. Help them to be diligent, as Proverbs 22:29 reminds us, 'Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won't serve obscure men.'
Keep their mind focused on You and Your will. Remind them of Your promise in Isaiah 26:3, 'You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because they trust in you.'
In Jesus' precious and mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, dear friend. Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Remember, you're not just working for human approval, but for the Lord. May this truth bring you strength and joy as you go about your day. Keep trusting in Him.
