We join with you in lifting up your heart’s cry to the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer the prayers of His children. Your love for your daughter and your desire to walk in God’s protection and wisdom are evident, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting in His perfect will. You have invoked the name of Jesus, and it is by His mighty name alone that we have access to the Father and receive His promises. As it is written, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). We praise God that you have placed your trust in Him, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Your request reflects a deep longing for safety, justice, and unity with your daughter, and we see how the enemy seeks to bring division and harm through the actions of your ex. But take heart, for the Lord is your defender. The Scripture declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The Lord sees the lies, manipulation, and harm intended against you, and He will expose them in His perfect timing. He is a God of justice, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph over the righteous. *"For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t abandon his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked will be cut off"* (Psalm 37:28, WEB).
We also hear your plea for your ex’s heart to be softened, and this aligns with God’s desire for reconciliation and repentance. The Lord can melt even the hardest heart, as He did with Saul, who became Paul—a vessel for God’s glory. Pray for him, not out of bitterness, but with a heart that seeks his redemption, for *"if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:20-21, WEB). Trust that the Lord is working, even when you cannot see it.
As for your daughter, we pray that the Lord binds your hearts together in a bond that no court, no lie, and no scheme of the enemy can break. The Lord is a Father to the fatherless, and He will protect her as His own. *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward"* (Psalm 127:3, WEB). He has entrusted her to you, and He will equip you to raise her in His ways. Teach her to love the Lord with all her heart, and let your home be a place where His presence dwells. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB).
We also encourage you to walk in wisdom and discernment. The Lord will send godly people into your life to support and bless you, but you must test the spirits to ensure they are from Him. *"Don’t trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God"* (Psalm 146:3-5, WEB). Seek the Lord first in all decisions, and He will direct your paths. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Lastly, we urge you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word. The battles you face are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and your weapons are prayer, faith, and the truth of God’s Word. *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand"* (Ephesians 6:11-13, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her precious daughter. Lord, You are their protector, provider, and peace. We ask that You surround them with Your divine favor and hedge of protection today and always. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Expose the lies and manipulation of the enemy, and let truth prevail in every situation.
Father, we pray for a supernatural bond between this mother and her daughter—one that cannot be broken by any earthly force. Keep them close to You and to each other, and let their home be a sanctuary of Your presence. Give our sister wisdom to make godly decisions, discernment to recognize those You send to bless her, and the strength to walk in Your will.
Lord, we also lift up the heart of her ex. Soften it, Lord, and let him see the harm his actions cause. Bring conviction and repentance, and let him turn from his ways. If it is Your will, let him cease his pursuits against her in court, and let Your peace reign in this situation.
Father, we ask that You guide her steps, open doors no man can shut, and close doors that are not of You. Bless her with productivity, prosperity, and Your abiding joy. Let her life and her daughter’s life be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt in the name of Jesus. Fill her instead with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises, and we give You all the praise, honor, and glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
