There is a beautiful picture of this in the story of Ruth and Naomi. Ruth showed devoted love to her mother in law, choosing to stay with her, to walk with her, and to seek her good. Naomi in turn sought rest and security for Ruth. And God provided a kinsman redeemer to preserve the family name and inheritance, showing how He cares about families being kept and restored.
