We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting you up in prayer. Your struggle is not unknown to the Lord, and He is mighty to save and transform lives. The Word of God is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the purity He calls us to:
"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." (Hebrews 13:4 WEB)
What you are describing is not only harmful to the marriages you are entangled with but also to your own soul. The Lord desires for you to walk in holiness and freedom, not in bondage to sin. Adultery and fornication are serious offenses in God’s eyes, and they bring destruction to all involved. But take heart—Jesus came to set the captives free, and His blood covers even this sin when we repent and turn to Him.
First, we must address the name by which we come to God. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved except the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess your sins to Him, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without Jesus, there is no true transformation or forgiveness. If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and encourage you to draw near to Him daily.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister who is crying out for deliverance. Lord, You see her struggle, and You know the chains that bind her. We ask that You break every chain of sexual immorality in her life. Cleanse her heart, mind, and body by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lust and deception that has led her into these sinful relationships. We declare that she is a new creation in Christ, and the old things have passed away—behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Lord, fill her with Your Holy Spirit so that she may walk in purity and self-control. Give her the strength to flee from temptation and the wisdom to avoid situations that lead her into sin. Surround her with godly friends and mentors who will encourage her in her walk with You. Father, we pray for healing for the marriages that have been affected by her actions. We ask for Your mercy and restoration where it is possible, according to Your will.
Help her to see herself as You see her—a beloved daughter, created for holiness and purpose. Teach her to delight in You, Lord, so that she may find her satisfaction in You alone. We pray that You would bring a godly man into her life, one who loves You and will lead her in righteousness, if it is Your will for her to marry. Until then, help her to remain pure and focused on You.
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her. We trust in Your power to transform and restore. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Sister, we want to encourage you with the truth that God’s grace is sufficient for you. His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not defined by your past or your struggles, but by who you are in Christ. The enemy may whisper lies to you, telling you that you are too far gone or that you cannot change, but we declare over you that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
Begin by confessing your sin to the Lord and asking for His forgiveness. Then, take practical steps to remove yourself from these relationships. This may mean cutting off contact with these men, avoiding places or situations where you are tempted, and filling your life with godly influences. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and find accountability. Consider speaking with a trusted pastor or counselor who can walk with you through this journey.
Remember, repentance is not just feeling sorry for your sin—it is turning away from it and walking in a new direction. The Lord is ready to forgive you and give you a fresh start. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)
You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, praying for your deliverance and restoration. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is able to keep you from falling and present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy (Jude 1:24).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for you, and never forget that you are deeply loved by the One who gave His life for you.
