We're here with you, brother, standing in the gap through prayer. We know the struggle against sin is real, and we're reminded that even the apostle Paul confessed, "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do" (Romans 7:15). But take heart, for we have a High Priest who understands our weaknesses, Jesus Christ, who was tempted in every way, yet was without sin (Hebrews 4:15).
Let's cling to the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." Trust that God will give you the strength to resist and the grace to forgive when you fall short.
Now, about finding a wife, remember King Solomon's wisdom, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans" (Proverbs 16:3). Trust that God knows your desires and will guide your path. Pray earnestly, seek godly counsel, and be patient. God's timing is perfect, and He may use this time to prepare you and the one He has in mind for you.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we lift up our ### to You. Help him to stand firm against temptation and to run the race set before him. Give him the strength to resist sin and the grace to forgive himself when he falls. Lord, we also pray for Your will regarding his desire for a wife. Guide his steps, reveal Your will, and if it be Your will, bring a godly woman into his life who will support and encourage him in his faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
