We join you in seeking the Lord’s guidance and wisdom as we navigate the challenges of life. The Bible assures us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5 WEB). Trusting in our own understanding can lead us astray, but acknowledging Him in all our ways allows Him to direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we come before You humbly, recognizing our need for Your divine direction. In moments of uncertainty, help us to lean not on our own understanding but to seek Your will above all else. Strengthen our faith so that we may walk confidently in the path You have set before us, even when it is difficult or unclear. Let Your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105 WEB), guiding us in truth and righteousness. May we always remember that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may discern Your voice and follow Your leading in every situation.
We also lift up those who may be facing trials that test their faith. Lord, grant them patience and perseverance, reminding them that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Let them find peace in Your presence, even in the midst of storms, for You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that seeks to hinder our trust in You. We declare that we will not be afraid, for You are with us; we will not be dismayed, for You are our God (Isaiah 41:10 WEB). Help us to stand firm in our faith, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6 WEB). May we always rely on Your strength rather than our own, for Your power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).
We also want to emphasize the importance of seeking You first in all things. Jesus taught us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Let this be our priority, that we may live lives that honor and glorify You. Remind us daily that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5 WEB), but with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).
In every decision, big or small, may we seek Your face and wait on Your timing. Teach us to be still and know that You are God (Psalm 46:10 WEB), trusting that You are working even when we cannot see it. Let our hearts be steadfast, anchored in the hope we have in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
