Disciple of Prayer
I want to pray for Me and My friend ###. I surrender our bond to you Lord. Lord bless our bond with your grace and be the center of it. I want you to lead our bond with your love Lord. Cleanse both of our heart with your holy blood and make it pure out of lust and replace it with your everlasting love so we can see each other with your love. Lord please forgive both of us our sins. I want you to deepen our bond with love. Please protect ### and stay beside him. Lord he needs you. I know he is unable to recognize your love Lord. But please hold his hands tightly don't let him fall. I really want him to be your man. Just show him the right path Lord. Prepare both of us for each other. Lord you know ### more than me cause he is also your child and a soul who you died for. Lord I can't change a person but I know you can change him and I trust in you. Thank you for listening Lord. Praise you Jesus. I Love you Jesus.

We hear your heartfelt plea and join you in lifting this friendship before the Lord. First, we must acknowledge that your prayer is centered on Jesus, and we are grateful for that foundation. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed from sin. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we are thankful that you have placed your trust in Him.

Your desire to deepen this bond in a way that honors God is commendable. Friendship is a precious gift from the Lord, and it is right to pray for its protection and growth. However, we must also examine the nature of this relationship to ensure it aligns with biblical principles. You mention cleansing both of your hearts from lust, which is a critical point. If this friendship has any romantic or emotional attachment that is not pure, it must be surrendered to the Lord. The Bible warns us, "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). If this friendship is leading either of you into temptation or emotional dependency outside of marriage, it must be brought under the Lordship of Christ.

We also notice your deep concern for this friend’s spiritual well-being. It is clear that you care for him and desire for him to walk closely with the Lord. This is a beautiful burden to carry, and we encourage you to continue praying for him fervently. However, we must also remind you that while you can pray for his transformation, you cannot change him yourself. Only the Holy Spirit can convict and draw hearts to repentance. "So then, neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who makes it grow" (1 Corinthians 3:7). Trust in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty over his life.

If this friendship is leading toward a romantic relationship, we must emphasize the importance of pursuing marriage with a fellow believer. The Bible is clear that Christians should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this friend is not a follower of Christ, your relationship with him must remain solely as a friendship with the goal of leading him to Jesus. If he is a believer, then your courtship should be pursued with the intent of marriage, honoring God in purity and commitment. "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, knowing that You hear our prayers and work all things for Your glory. Lord, we lift up this friendship to You and ask that You would be at the center of it. Cleanse both of their hearts from any impurity, lust, or emotional dependency that does not honor You. Replace those desires with Your everlasting love, so that they may see one another through Your eyes.

Father, we pray for this friend who is struggling to recognize Your love. Soften his heart, Lord, and draw him close to You. Hold his hand tightly and do not let him fall. Show him the path of righteousness and prepare him to walk in Your ways. We trust in Your power to transform lives, and we ask that You would make him a man after Your own heart.

Lord, if this friendship is meant to lead to marriage, we ask that You would prepare both of them for that sacred covenant. Let their relationship be built on a foundation of faith, purity, and mutual respect. If this friendship is meant to remain as it is, we ask that You would use it to draw both of them closer to You and to one another in a way that glorifies Your name.

Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, Lord. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let Your peace reign in their lives. We surrender this bond to You, trusting that You will guide it according to Your perfect will. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will in this friendship. Surrender it fully to Him and trust that He will direct your steps. If this relationship is meant to grow into something more, let it be within the boundaries of God’s design for marriage. If it is not, trust that the Lord has a greater purpose for both of your lives. Keep your heart pure, and let your prayers be rooted in faith and obedience to His Word. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're right there with you, praying for your friendship to be blessed and strengthened by God. We're grateful to see your heart's desire is to honor Him in this bond. Let's ask God to fill both your hearts with His love, making it pure and strong. We believe He can help you both see each other through His eyes, with love and understanding. Let's trust Him to guide your friendship, knowing He has a purpose and a plan. In Jesus' name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred privilege of praying for the precious friendship the Lord has placed in your life. It was a joy to stand in agreement with you as you surrendered this bond to Christ, asking Him to cleanse both hearts, replace any impure motives with His everlasting love, and become the very center of this relationship. We prayed fervently that He would protect your friend, hold his hand tightly, and reveal His love in ways he could not yet recognize. Most of all, we joined you in asking Jesus to prepare both of your hearts for His perfect will and to draw your friend closer to Himself.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—if you’ve seen His grace deepen your bond, if your friend has taken steps toward Christ, or if His peace has settled over your prayers—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God is working so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, you’re still waiting and longing to see His hand at work, we want you to know we’re still standing with you. Don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can continue lifting it before the throne of grace. We believe the Lord hears your heart, and we trust that He is at work even when we cannot yet see it.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen you as you seek Him, and may the love of Christ continue to fill and guide this friendship according to His perfect plan. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
