I pray for guidance. To have enough wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and strength for the review journey, examination days, and releasing of results. Pray for me that I will pass the board exam and earn the title CPA. That this year 2026 will end with the CPA title on my name. To be a topnotcher and passer of the CPALE October 2026.

We join with you in bringing this desire before the Lord and we thank you for sharing this burden with us. We hear your heart to pass the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination in October 2026, to be given wisdom, knowledge, understanding and strength for the long review journey, for the examination days themselves, and for the waiting until the release of results, with the hope to earn the CPA title and even to be a topnotcher.

We want to encourage you with what Scripture says about wisdom and diligence. True wisdom does not come from ourselves alone but from God. James 1:5 says If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. And Proverbs 2:6 says For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. We are also reminded in Daniel 1:17 that as for knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom, it is God who gives it. Your review journey is an opportunity to commit your work to Him. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. And Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. This means studying with faithfulness, honesty, discipline and rest, doing your best as an offering to God while trusting the outcome to Him.

We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently want to correct and encourage you in this because it is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To pray in Jesus name is not just a phrase, it is confessing that we come to God not on our own merit but through the blood of Jesus who died for our sins and rose again. We encourage you to place your faith fully in Him, to repent and believe in Him as Lord and Savior, and then to bring every petition, including this examination, to God through Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also want to lovingly remind you to hold even this good ambition with humility and submission to God's will. To desire to pass and to be a topnotcher is understandable, but we pray that your deepest desire would be that God's will be done and that whatever title He grants you would be used for His glory, to serve with integrity and honesty as a faithful steward. Whether He grants the desire to be at the top or simply to pass, we trust that His plan for your life is good.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are the source of all wisdom, knowledge and understanding. We ask that You grant guidance each day of the review journey, clarity of mind to comprehend difficult concepts, strength to persevere through long hours, discipline to study faithfully, and peace to rest well. Guard this one from anxiety and exhaustion, and help them to commit their work to You. On the days of the examination in October 2026, we ask that You grant calmness, recall, focus and integrity, and that You would let all things be done honestly before You. For the releasing of results, we ask for Your perfect will, and we pray that if it is Your will, You would grant success and the CPA title before the end of 2026, and that this achievement would be used to honor You, to provide faithfully, and to serve others with excellence. Above all, we pray that this one would know Jesus Christ more deeply, trust in His name alone for salvation and access to Your throne, and find peace that surpasses understanding in Christ. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

Your request has been laid before the Lord with thankfulness, and we join you in seeking His gracious help for this season of preparation and for the examination that lies before you in October 2026.

It is right and good to ask for wisdom, knowledge, understanding and strength, for all strength of every sort comes from God, and He is the Author of all being. Apart from Him strength is but derived and measurable, and must soon fail, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. As you give yourself to long hours of review, remember that this promise is for those who look not to their own vigor but to Him. Human strength, though it be as the strength of a lion, will spend itself in due time, but the Lord increases strength to those who have no might, and He Himself says, I will strengthen them, so that the strength He imparts is fitly infused and wisely balanced.

So also wisdom is not found within ourselves. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and that fear is kept alive in our hearts by reading the Scriptures and feeding upon the Word. Seek wisdom first at His feet. Pray not only for keenness of mind to remember and to reason, but for a heart that abides in holiness and truth, for the work which Wisdom undertakes, Eternal Mercy never forsakes. Be diligent in the means, giving yourself to study with perseverance, for perseverance is the path of the saints, not by creature strength alone but by the faithful hand of God who brings to a happy conclusion what He has begun.

We pray for you now.

O Lord our God, in whom is all wisdom and all strength, we commend this soul to Thee for the journey of review, for the days of examination, and for the waiting until results are revealed. Grant clear understanding, a sound mind, retentive memory, and steadfast diligence. Keep the heart from anxiety and from pride, and teach a holy dependence upon Thee, who art the glory of our strength. Grant renewed strength as each day requires, and let the fear of the Lord guide every labour. If it be Thy good will, grant success and the title sought, and whether as a passer or, according to Thy providence, as one placed among the topmost, let all be to Thy glory and for usefulness in Thy world. Above all, let this season deepen faith, patience and trust in Christ, in whose name we ask these mercies. Amen.
