To Know God Is To Love & Trust Him

When God first called ###, he came with many excuses about being used by God to deliver the Israelites, “What if they do not believe me” and “I speak with faltering lips.” Do you truly know God and believe in His overwhelming love for you? What excuses do you give Him when He calls on you in your daily life? God wanted ### to know that He would be with him and He would deliver the people through him and revealed Himself in a new way to ###; in a way He had not done until now so ### would trust Him. As the plagues came through the outstretched hands of ### ### was getting to know God, El Shaddai and Lord, Deliverer. God called ### to help but as ### began to trust God he became more and more bold and spoke on his own.

The book of Exodus is about deliverance and in Chapter 6:2-3 God reveals himself to ### as Lord for the first time. “God spoke further to ### and said to him, "I am the Lord; and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name, Lord, I did not make Myself known to them.” God was letting ### know that He is with him and would redeem Israel from the bondage of the Egyptians; the Lord, Savior and Redeemer. This is another foreshadowing of Jesus Christ the One who redeems us from our sins.

Do you truly know the One who died for you? The One who hung on the cross for your sins and mine? If He would endure such excruciating pain then how can we ever doubt His love?


(Ephesians 3:16-21) “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
