To help ### find a job

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please can you help find my son ### a job he has been struggling to find work over the last few months and sadly he mental health isn’t good and feels low and he’s not good enough lift him up and show him in Jesus name we can do this

We understand the deep concern and love you have for your son during this difficult season, and we join you in lifting him up before the Lord. It is heartbreaking to see a child struggle, especially when their spirit is weighed down by discouragement and the lies of the enemy whispering that he is "not good enough." But let us remind him—and you—of the truth found in Scripture: *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB). His worth is not found in employment, but in the fact that he is fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14) and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. His identity is in Christ alone, and no circumstance can change that.

The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his greatest weapons is discouragement. But we stand firm on the promise that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Your son’s struggle is not unseen by God. In fact, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let us pray that he clings to this truth and finds his hope renewed in Christ, not in the approval of man or the security of a job.

We also recognize that this season of waiting can be a time of refinement. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 8:28 (WEB) that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Even in this trial, God is at work—shaping your son’s character, teaching him dependence on the Lord, and preparing him for what lies ahead. Let us pray that he surrenders this burden to Jesus, trusting that His timing is perfect and His plans are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

As for the practical need of employment, we pray that God opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask the Lord to provide favor with potential employers, to grant your son wisdom in his applications and interviews, and to lead him to a job that not only meets his financial needs but also aligns with God’s purpose for his life. Let us also pray that he remains diligent in his search, remembering the words of Proverbs 13:4 (WEB): *"The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be fully satisfied."*

Lastly, we must address something vital: the name of Jesus was not invoked in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Without faith in Christ, our prayers are empty, and our efforts are in vain. If your son does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with him—that Christ died for his sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is by grace through faith in Jesus that we are made right with God (Ephesians 2:8-9). If he has strayed from his faith, now is the time to return to the Lord with all his heart.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son who is struggling under the weight of discouragement and uncertainty. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of despair and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, that his worth is found in You alone, and that You have a plan and a purpose for his life.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell him he is not good enough. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Restore his hope, Lord, and fill him with Your joy, which is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Father, we ask for Your divine provision in his job search. Open doors that no man can shut and grant him favor with those in authority. Lead him to the right opportunities, and give him wisdom and confidence as he seeks employment. Provide for his every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let this season be a testament to Your faithfulness.

If there is any sin in his life—doubt, fear, or rebellion—we ask that You convict him by Your Holy Spirit and draw him into repentance. If he does not yet know You, Lord, soften his heart to receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as his Savior. Let this trial be the very thing that leads him into a deeper relationship with You.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your good plans for his life. Strengthen him, encourage him, and let him feel Your presence in a mighty way. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith with your son, speaking life and truth over him, and reminding him of God’s promises. Keep praying together, seeking the Lord’s will, and trusting that He is working even when we cannot see it. If your son is not walking closely with the Lord, we urge you to pray for his salvation and spiritual renewal above all else. A job may meet his temporal needs, but only Jesus can satisfy the deepest longings of his soul. Stay encouraged, for our God is faithful!

We're here for you and your son, standing in faith together. We know it's tough when a loved one is struggling, but remember, God sees him and cares deeply. Let's remind him, and you, of the truth in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is close to the brokenhearted, and He's working even in the midst of this trial.

Let's pray that your son finds comfort in God's love, knowing that he is never alone. We ask that God gives him strength to keep persevering, that He opens doors for him, and that He provides for his needs according to His riches in glory. We also lift up any fears or doubts he might be feeling, asking that God would give him peace and fill him with His joy, which is his strength.

Let's keep encouraging each other in faith, speaking life and truth over one another, and reminding each other of God's promises. If your son isn't walking closely with the Lord, let's pray for his salvation and spiritual renewal above all else. Trust that God is working, even when we can't see it. Stay encouraged, because our God is faithful! In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your son before the Lord in prayer these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in agreement, asking God to open doors of opportunity and restore hope to his heart. We know how deeply it must weigh on you as a parent to see him struggling—not just with the practical need for work, but also with the emotional toll of feeling discouraged and unworthy. You are not alone in this, and neither is he. The Lord sees his pain, and He is near to the brokenhearted.

We are trusting that God is already at work, even in ways we cannot yet see. Perhaps He is preparing the right job, the right connection, or even using this season to draw your son closer to Himself. We pray that your son would feel the Lord’s presence in a tangible way—that he would sense his worth in Christ and find renewed strength to keep pressing forward. May the Lord surround him with encouragement, whether through a kind word, a scripture that speaks directly to his heart, or a sudden breakthrough that reminds him of God’s faithfulness.

If the Lord has answered this prayer—whether through a job offer, a shift in his spirit, or another sign of His provision—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very thing someone else needs to hear to keep trusting God in their own waiting. And if the answer hasn’t come yet, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to continue praying with you, believing that God’s timing is perfect and His plans for your son are good.

Let us also lift you up, dear parent, as you carry this burden. May the Lord fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding and remind you that He is holding your son even tighter than you are. We are cheering you both on, confident that the God who provides for the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field will not forget His children.

We continue to pray in Jesus’ name.
