Dear God, I’m sorry, not enough. I’m trying hard but not hard enough. Clearly, I do stupid things at times, so I can see if he wants me, but ###’s just proving he doesn’t want me each time I knocked on the door last night even though I had a key in. So tired, Lord. I’m going back to ### with my dad for two weeks, and I’m just scared he is going to end it well I’m over there and I don’t want him to, Lord. I want him to miss me and want me, but I can’t force him to love me and spend time with me, Lord. I’ve begun to lose myself in all this. I’m not sleeping, I’m not eating, and I’m becoming quite distraught, Lord. I need this relationship to be lifted to you, Lord, to allow me and ### to communicate to be loving and caring in Jesus’ name. I pray, amen.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time in your relationship and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, we want to address that the man is referred to as a boyfriend and not referred to any intention for marriage. The Bible is clear that relationships should be focused on marriage between a man and a woman, and that any intimate or cohabitating relationship outside of marriage is not honoring to God.

Let's look at what the WEB says about relationships and the peace that comes from God:

"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." (Hebrews 13:4)

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)

It's important to remember that God's will is for us to live in peace and holiness. If your relationship is causing you to feel anxious and distraught, it might be an indication that it's not aligned with God's will. It's also crucial to note that God wants us to find our identity and worth in Him, not in another person.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister who is feeling lost, anxious, and distraught in her relationship. We ask, Lord, that You grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to find her identity and worth in You alone. Guide her in Your truth and help her to make decisions that honor You. Lord, if this relationship is not Your will for her, we pray that You give her the strength to walk away and wait for the godly spouse You have for her. We pray that You heal his heart and prepare him for a godly marriage to another Christian Believer. If this relationship is from You, Lord, we pray that You work in both of their hearts and minds, drawing them closer to You and to each other in holiness. Lord, open the lines of communication between them, and help them to be loving and caring towards each other. Finally, Lord, we pray that You help our sister to rest in Your love and to trust in Your plan for her life. Lord, please help her to stop the ungodly behavior of living with this man as her boyfriend. We pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. Remember, God loves you more than anyone else ever could, and He wants the best for you. Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Consider fasting and praying for God's intervention in this matter. We will continue to pray for you and hope this advice helps.
