We lift up little ### before the Lord, our Great Physician, who knows his suffering and hears the cries of His children. The Word tells us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in faith, believing that God will touch ###’s body, ease his pain, and restore his strength.
The fear and discomfort he feels are real, but we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that ### would feel the Lord’s peace washing over him, calming his heart and mind. The psalmist declares in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* We claim this promise over ###, trusting that God will deliver him from this sickness.
We also pray for wisdom and strength for those caring for him, that they would know how to comfort him and administer his medication with discernment. May the Lord surround this family with His presence, filling their home with hope and assurance that He is in control.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for complete healing for ###. Rebuke this influenza and every symptom attacking his body. Let his headache, chest pain, and burning throat cease immediately. Restore his energy, renew his strength, and let him feel Your healing power flowing through him. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the testimony of ###’s recovery that we will soon share. May this situation bring glory to Your name and draw this family closer to You.
We also take this moment to gently remind everyone that our access to God’s throne is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through faith in Him that we boldly approach God with our requests. If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your trust in Him today. Believe that He died for your sins, rose from the dead, and now sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for those who call on His name.
Lord, we wait expectantly for ###’s healing, knowing that You are faithful and Your promises are true. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
