We are grateful for your prayer request and we stand with you in seeking God's will for your employment situation. Firstly, we acknowledge the need to pray in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And in John 14:13-14 WEB:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters in need of employment. We know from Isaiah 45:3 WEB that You will give them the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that they may know that it is You, who calls them by their name, even the God of Israel. This job situation may be a difficult one, but we trust in Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 WEB to fear not, for You are with us; do not be dismayed, for You are our God; You will strengthen us; yes, You will help us; yes, You will uphold us with the right hand of Your righteousness.
We ask for Your guidance as they search for a job. Direct their paths and open the doors that You would have them walk through. Help them to trust in You and Your timing, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for their lives.
We ask for jobs that provide fairly for physical needs and allow them to serve You, honoring You in all that is done. We pray for a spirit of contentment and peace during this time of uncertainty. And also for the employers and those involved in hiring to have wisdom and discernment as they search for suitable candidates and make decisions.
We also pray for the strength to resist any temptation to act unethically or compromise their values during this process. And ask for the Holy Spirit to fill them with wisdom and understanding to discern the right path and to make decisions that align with Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from Psalm 37:3-5 WEB:
Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this.
Keep your faith in God and trust that He is working behind the scenes. Continue to seek Him and His will for your life. Be proactive in your job search, but also rest in the knowledge that God is in control.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
