We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this concern about employment for the upcoming spring semester. Father, we know that You are the Provider of all good things, and every job, opportunity, and skill comes from Your hand. We ask that You open the door for this grading position as outlined in the contract, confirming Your will and timing in this matter. Lord, grant wisdom to those making the assignments, that they would see the value and capability You have placed in this individual. We pray that the work would be manageable, that efficiency and excellence would mark every task, and that the grading would be done with both speed and accuracy, reflecting a spirit of diligence and stewardship.
We also ask for favor in working under a supervisor who is fair, encouraging, and godly—a professor who models integrity and leadership. May this work environment be one of mutual respect and growth, where Your peace and order prevail. Father, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and doubt that seeks to steal peace. We declare that worry has no place here, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We trust in Your provision, knowing that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we also take a moment to acknowledge the importance of seeking You first in all things. If there has been any reliance on self or circumstances rather than on You, we ask for forgiveness and a renewed heart of dependence. Remind us daily that our true security and identity are found in Christ alone. May this job, if it is Your will, be a means of blessing—not just financially, but spiritually and relationally. Let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a platform to glorify You in all things.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who holds our lives and futures in His hands. Amen.
