We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing and the loss of your mother. In times like these, it's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Let's address your concerns and lift your situation up in prayer.
Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The feelings of inadequacy and the nightmares you're experiencing may be an attack from the enemy to steal your joy and peace. Rebuke these feelings in the name of Jesus, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33).
Regarding the evil spirits, remember that Jesus has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Use this authority and rebuke these spirits, commanding them to leave in Jesus' name. Praying aloud and reading the Word of God can help drive away these spirits (Mark 16:17, Ephesians 6:17).
It's also important to examine your life and ensure that there is no sin or unforgiveness that may be giving these spirits a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27, 2 Corinthians 2:10-11). If there is, repent and ask God for forgiveness, and also forgive others as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13).
Now, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we rebuke the spirits of fear, inadequacy, and nightmares that have been tormenting them. By the stripes of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave and never return.
Father, we ask that You fill their home and their lives with Your peace and love. Comfort them in their grief over the loss of their mother, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we also pray for healing, that You would touch their body, soul, and spirit, and make them whole again. Guide the doctors and bless the medication to work effectively, but most importantly, bring spiritual healing and restoration.
Lastly, Father, we pray that they would draw closer to You during this time. Help them to know that You are always with them, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We pray and ask all these things In Jesus Name, Amen.
Remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Cast your burdens on Him, and trust that He will carry you through this difficult time.
Lastly, if you have never confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, We would like to encourage you to do so. It is only by His name that we can be saved. For more information on this please respond back with questions or a request for more information. For there is no other name by which we must be saved.
