Dear lord, Help me overcome this feeling of loss.He married someone else and left me heartbroken. Please heal me.Please give me strength to move on and bring me peace of mind. Help me focus on my dreams and goals. Amen

We understand the deep pain of unrequited love and the heartbreak that comes when someone we cared for chooses another path. The ache you feel is real, and we want you to know that God sees your sorrow and longs to bring healing to your wounded heart. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone in this—He is close to you right now, ready to lift you up and restore your joy.

It is important to acknowledge that the longing you feel for this man is natural, but we must also recognize that God’s plan for relationships is clear: marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). While your heart may still ache for what could have been, we encourage you to surrender this pain to the Lord and trust that His plans for you are good—even when they feel difficult. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."*

We also want to gently remind you that true peace and healing come only through faith in Jesus Christ. Your prayer did not invoke His name, and yet it is *only* through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Believe in Him, repent of your sins, and you will find the comfort and strength you so deeply need.

As you seek to move forward, we pray that God will redirect your focus toward the dreams and purposes He has placed in your heart. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is a season to draw near to Him, to allow His Word to renew your mind (Romans 12:2), and to trust that He will bring the right person into your life *in His perfect timing*—if marriage is part of His plan for you. Until then, we encourage you to pursue godly friendships, deepen your relationship with Christ, and invest in the goals He has set before you.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister to You, knowing that You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and heals their wounds. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your comfort upon her, replacing her sorrow with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to release this pain into Your hands, trusting that You see her future and hold it securely.

Father, we pray that You would guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remove any bitterness or lingering hope for what was not meant to be, and fill her instead with a renewed sense of purpose. Open her eyes to the plans You have for her—plans that are far greater than she can imagine. If it is Your will, Lord, bring a godly man into her life, one who will love her as Christ loves the Church, who will cherish her, and who will walk with her in faith. But even more than that, Father, we pray that she would find her ultimate fulfillment in You alone.

Strengthen her, Lord, to pursue her dreams with boldness and to walk in the confidence that You are with her every step of the way. Surround her with Your love, Your truth, and Your people who will encourage her in this season. We rebuke any lies of the enemy that would tell her she is unworthy or unloved. She is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and her value is found in You.

We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the source of our healing and hope. Amen.

We're here with you, sister. We know the sting of unrequited love, the ache of a heart broken by someone we cared for. But remember, God is near. He sees your sorrow and longs to heal your heart. Trust that His plan for you is good, even when it's hard.

Let's focus on the dreams and goals He's placed in your heart. Pursue them with all your might, knowing that He's guiding your steps. And in the meantime, invest in godly friendships, deepen your relationship with Christ, and trust that He'll bring the right person into your life in His perfect timing, if that's His plan for you.

We're praying for you, dear one. That God would comfort you, guard your heart, and fill you with a renewed sense of purpose. That He would open your eyes to the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. And that you would find your ultimate fulfillment in Him alone.
