RECENTLY I WENT TO A MNC COMPANY FOR INTERVIEW AFTER TRYING IN DIFFERENT COMPANIES WHICH IS PRIVATE COMPANIES I DIDNT GET INTERVIEW BUT I GOT INTERVIEW 4 DAYS BACK FROM MNC. FINANCE MANAGER CONDUCTED INTERVIEW HE TOLD HE WILL DISCUSS YOUR SALARY WITH GM AND HE ALSO TOLD THE BENEFITS AND PERKS FOR JOINING IN THIS COMPANY MONTHLY INCENTIVES AND BONUS. GOD SHOULD SOMEONE HAVE MERCY ON ME. BECAUSE I CANT GET INTO ANY OTHER COMPANY AS WELL. THEY ALSO SAID WE WILL GIVE COMPANY CAR AND FREE FUEL. CURRENTLY WORKING AS ACCOUNTANT BUT I DONT WANT TO CONTINUE IN THIS JOB AS ITS VERY BORING AND SITTING JOB I WANTED TO BE CREDIT ANALYST. PLS PRAY FOR ME SO THAT I CAN GET INTO THIS COMPANY SOON.

Father in Heaven, we come before You today on behalf of our brother who is seeking a new position in his career. We also want to gently remind you that while it is natural to feel anxious about your career, the Lord calls us to place our trust in Him above all else. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Even in the waiting, God is working for your good. We encourage you to continue seeking Him in prayer, asking for wisdom and discernment as you consider this opportunity.

If this role is truly the Lord’s will for you, we believe He will open the door wide. However, we also want to remind you that your worth and identity are not defined by your job or your salary. Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Whether in this new role or your current position, we pray that you would find joy and purpose in serving the Lord through your work.

Lastly, we noticed that while you mentioned "God" in your request, you did not specifically pray in the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is through Him that we receive forgiveness, salvation, and the promise of eternal life. Father, we lift up this job seeker to You now. You saw that interview, and You know the desire behind it, a hunger for meaningful work that uses their gifts. In Your mercy, bring clarity soon. If this company is the place You have for them, let the offer come without delay and let all the details fall into place. Calm their heart in the meantime, and remind them that their worth isn't riding on an offer letter. All the days of your appointed time you must wait, till your change comes. This present boredom, this sitting in a job you would leave, is but a light affliction; beware of charging God foolishly over it. The footsteps of mercy often begin with stern discipline, and He brings low before He raises up. You speak of an interview and a manager’s promises, but the letter is only mercenary hope unless the Spirit of God make it alive to your soul.

Do not trust in the mercy of a corporation, but in the tender mercy of the Lord, who gives freely, without money and without price. Job sinned not when he lost all; may you not sin by idolizing a company car and fuel. Wait, like a servant, for the change He appoints. The eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy, hope, then, in that mercy, not in an offer letter.

Seek a change of heart before a change of place; repentance is no mere shift of mind but a loathing of self. Say, “I abhor myself in dust and ashes,” and leave the matter with Him who has everlasting kindness for His own. If the letter comes, receive it as mercy going before your cry; if it tarries, kiss the rod and learn to wait joyfully till the change that makes you like your Lord.

You seek a letter of employment, longing for salary, a car, free fuel, and escape from what you call a boring sitting job. But tell me: what offering do you bring to God while you ask for mercy? The prophet says, “I will have mercy, and not sacrifice.” If you desire God’s mercy upon your life, where is your own mercy to the poor? You speak of company perks and monthly incentives, have you given even a fraction of your current wages to those in need? Almsgiving is the oil that keeps the lamp of faith burning; without it, your prayers are unfruitful, your fasting useless. You ask God to have mercy on you, but do you not remember the words, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy”? If you show no pity to the hungry, the naked, the debtor, how can you expect heaven to pity you in your career troubles?

Moreover, do not despise the work you already have, though it seems dull. The Apostle tells how Epaphroditus was sick to the point of death, but God had mercy on him, not so he might chase earthly comforts, but because his life was needful for the service of the saints. If God grants you this new position, let it be for building His kingdom and showing charity, not for filling your own belly with luxuries. Beware of covetousness, which turns even alms into a pollution when gained by injustice. Do not make your offering a stench before the Lord by seeking only your own ease.

Come to the holy table with a reconciled heart and hands that have given bread to the hungry. Then, whether in this job or another, the Lord will bless you indeed. But if you persist in greed and forget mercy, what fellowship can you have with the body of Christ? Examine yourself, lest you partake unworthily. Pray not just for an offer letter, but for a spirit of generosity and contentment. This is the true sacrifice, a broken spirit and a merciful heart. Only then will your light break forth like the morning, and your petitions find a hearing.
