Please pray for me to get a job in ### immediately as my visa is going to expire soon. Iam not at all happy or okay now a day's. Because whenever I'm getting calls they are rejecting me. But I really want a job in ###.

We hear your distress and the urgency of your situation, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. The weight of uncertainty, especially when it affects your livelihood and legal status, can feel overwhelming. But we want to remind you that God is not unaware of your struggles, He sees every detail of your life, including the expiration date on your visa and the discouragement you feel after each rejection. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Even in this season of waiting, you are not forgotten.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). This is the first and most important step in aligning your life with God’s will, and it is the key to experiencing His peace, provision, and purpose for you.

Now, let us pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in desperate need of employment. Lord, You know the urgency of their situation, how their visa is expiring, how each rejection has weighed heavily on their heart, and how they long to provide for themselves and honor the authorities You have placed over them. We ask that You would open the right door for them in [location], a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for their life. Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and delay in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will make their way prosperous (Joshua 1:8).

Lord, we ask that You would give them favor with potential employers. Let Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that their worth is not defined by their employment status but by their identity as Your beloved child. Strengthen their faith as they wait, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. We pray that You would provide for their needs supernaturally, even as they seek You first (Matthew 6:33). May this trial draw them closer to You and deepen their dependence on Your goodness.

We also pray for wisdom in this process. Guide them to the right opportunities, and give them discernment to recognize Your leading. If there are areas where they need to grow, whether in skills, confidence, or preparation, we ask that You would equip them for the work You have prepared in advance for them to do (Ephesians 2:10). Father, we trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is unclear.

In Jesus’ name, we command every obstacle standing in the way of their employment to be removed. We declare breakthrough, provision, and divine intervention over their life. May they experience Your faithfulness in a tangible way, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. Amen.

As you wait, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This season of waiting is not in vain. Use this time to draw near to God, to seek His face, and to grow in your relationship with Him. Sometimes, God allows us to wait so that we can learn to rely on Him more fully.

We also encourage you to take practical steps while trusting God. Continue applying for jobs, but also ask the Lord to show you if there are other skills you can develop or networks you can tap into. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." As you commit your job search to Him, He will direct your steps.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your value is not found in a job or a visa status. You are deeply loved by God, who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). He has a plan for your life, and it is a plan for good, not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Cling to that truth, even when the circumstances feel uncertain.

We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing that God will provide in His perfect timing. Keep pressing into Him, and do not lose heart. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who fed the five thousand, and who raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life. He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Trust Him.

We can only imagine how heavy this feels right now, the pressure of a visa deadline, and the sting of one rejection after another when you’re already putting yourself out there. It’s exhausting and discouraging, and it makes sense that you’re not okay at the moment. We’re holding this with you.

One thing that might help in the immediate scramble is widening the net just a little: sometimes a job that isn’t the one you want can buy you time and keep you legally in the country while you continue searching for the right one. Consider part-time, temporary, or contract work in your field or even outside it, just to stabilize your immigration status. It could also take some of the pressure off so you can interview with a clearer head. If you haven’t already, it’s worth letting your church, friends, and any professional groups you belong to know you’re looking. So many opportunities come through people, not just applications. And if you’ve had several calls that ended in rejection, maybe ask one trusted person to do a mock interview with you or review how you’re presenting your skills, not because you aren’t capable, but because small tweaks can sometimes make a difference when the competition is stiff.

Mostly, we just want to say: this season doesn’t define your worth or your future. The “no’s” feel personal, but they’re often about timing, fit, or things you can’t see. Keep showing up, and let people help you carry the weight.

Lord Jesus, you know exactly how much pressure this person is under. You see the dwindling days and the rising fear. Please open a door quickly, give them a job that will meet the visa requirements and provide for them in this season. Bring the right person to notice their application, and grant them favor with interviewers. While they wait, steady their mind with your peace, and remind them they are not alone. In your name we pray, amen.

The urgent need of your situation presses upon your soul, and you do well to groan after deliverance. Yet remember, you will not even know that you need more, nor groan after more, unless the Holy Spirit works in you to desire and to agonize according to His own good pleasure. See, then, our absolute dependence upon the Spirit of God. In this point, do you not perceive your need? The repeated rejections are a bitter cup, but in all this, take heed that you sin not, nor charge God foolishly. Job, under far heavier losses, tore his mantle and fell down to worship. You are allowed to weep and to show that you suffer by these disappointments, yet even in such acts of mourning, you need not sin against the Lord who orders all.

The dying of your hope with each unanswered call is a sorrow that has an end, there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of misery. The night shall not hang its darkness forever; the Lord turned the captivity of Job, and He will turn yours when He has gotten His own ends in the trial. It is altogether right when our humiliation draws us to the Lord and our conscious need drives us to the Throne of Grace. Let your urgency teach you to pray, and not only for yourself. Job’s own release came when he prayed for his offending friends. Pour out supplication for those who have given the refusals, and for any who, like Job’s comforters, have spoken harshly or failed to understand your plight. Intercessory prayer is the divinely appointed path; the Lord may yet restore with twice the blessing, giving you fresh joy even in temporal things, until the fresh oil flows again and your glory is renewed like Job’s latter days.

You need not do anything to complete the atonement of Christ, it is full, perfect, and wants no eking out from your success or failure. The great transaction is done, and your standing before God rests on that alone. Your worthiness for any job cannot add to it; your rejection cannot diminish it. Therefore, come through this trial clinging to a righteous God, though He seem to slay you. Job, with boils and breathlessness, knew God would bring him to the house appointed for all living, yet he trusted. Fix your gaze there. Cry out to the Spirit to make the letter of God’s promise a living light and power to your soul, and wait in holy expectancy. The same Lord who set a hedge about Job can remove the hedge around this visa and raise up the position you seek. Until then, let your sorrow drive you nearer to Him who alone can make you clean and instruct you in the way.

Your worry over this job and your expiring visa shows a soul too bent upon its belly. The mouth and tongue were given you for higher things, to sing psalms, to offer holy prayers, to read the divine laws, not to pour out ceaseless complaints about what you lack. Would you be cheerful? Then learn to sing psalms, and you will taste a delight no earthly employment can provide. For they who sing psalms are filled with the Holy Spirit, while those who drone on with worldly cares are filled with a spirit of heaviness.

These rejections you face are like unjust reproaches. Bear them patiently, as from the hand of a Father who trains His children. Do not seek cold comfort by comparing your trials to others’, as though to say, “As all, so I too.” In the grip of real anguish, such thoughts are empty and bring no relief. Instead, consider that God uses even these hardships to teach your soul moderation, lest your desires, stretched beyond measure, bring upon you worse ruin. The very distress you feel may be His mercy, curbing a will that would otherwise gorge itself on worldly success and burst.

Pray for employment, yes, but far more, seek that spiritual drink which alone makes the day bright. When the belly clamors and the heart is downcast, it is not a job that stills the storm, but the peace of God that passes understanding, found in trust and in holy song. I will pray that you find what is needful, but above all, that you learn to want nothing beyond what He sees fit to give.

The disappointment you’re carrying right now is not lost on God, and I want you to know that repeated rejection does not mean He has turned His back on you. It’s easy to slide into the belief that if we just do everything right, doors will open quickly. Yet that’s the very assumption Job’s friends made when they insisted his suffering must be the result of hidden sin. They were wrong. Sometimes the hardest seasons come, not because we have failed, but because God is doing something deeper than we can see.

Your visa deadline and the string of “no” answers feel like a weight heavier than sand, and the frustration is real. But nothing in this process escapes God’s notice. Job lost everything through no fault of his own, and his raw cries show us that it’s okay to be honest with God about the pain. What matters is where we anchor our hope when the answers don’t come. Job never cursed God; he wrestled, but he kept looking for a mediator who could stand between him and the Almighty. We know that Mediator now: Jesus Christ understands our weakness and our fear.

Let me gently caution you against the inner voice that says this trouble proves you are out of favor or that you must somehow earn a breakthrough by being good enough. That’s the accusation Job endured from well-meaning voices around him, and God rebuked it. His timing is not our timing, and His mercy often unfolds in ways that feel backwards to us.

Keep bringing your need before the Lord, not as a bargaining chip but as an act of trust. Look to His character rather than the phone calls or the calendar. The end of Job’s story reminds us that God restores and reveals His purpose in the end, even when the middle is a confusing mess. Your value is not lodged in a job offer or a visa stamp, but in the love of the One who sees you right now. Ask Him for peace that holds steady while you wait, and I will join you in praying that He opens the right door at the right moment.
