Humble Prayer Partner
Father, I humbly come before you asking for forgiveness, guidance, spirituality and patience. As you know, my relationship has been in trouble for sometime. As i do the Love Dare, things are becoming tougher yet easier. I am currently working on my addictions. 2/3 of my playboys have been destroyed. It felt exhilerating to rip them up. I just have 6 more boxes to shred. I just couldn't get it done today.
Lord I want to follow you. I offer you my relationship with Kathy. I offer up our children to you. I trust in you that all will be as you decide. I have faith that whatever happens, it is your desire. I have put Kathy and my family before you. I realize that I cannot love them without loving you first.
God the Father, Son and Spirit, I commit my life to you. Use it as you see fit. Give me the strength when I feel I have none. Give me protection when sin is near.
I want to thank you God, for all the gifts you have given me. Thank you for the gift of life, my parents and siblings. Thnk you for my education. Thank you for my career, and my friends. Thank you for allowing me to stumble, yet love me unconditionally. Thank you for sacraficing your son Jesus so that my sins may be forgiven. That is the ultimate sacrafice. Thank you for Kathy, Luke, Jake, Olivia and Lily. I ask that you bless them, guide them and bring peace to their lives.
As I continue the Love Dare journey, I ask that I keep you in the forefront as I know everything else will fall into place.
