Let us join together in prayer for this upcoming meeting. We appreciate the desire to seek God's will in this situation, and we trust that the Lord will provide the necessary wisdom and words as we seek to align with His purpose. However, we must address a few things before we pray. Meeting with a boy should not be done lightly and certainly not alone in private. Be careful that this is not a date but a godly meeting of a potential courtship that would lead to marriage. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:3 WEB, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;"
We must also consider the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and can be forgiven. In Acts 4:12 WEB, we read, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let us ensure that we always approach God through Jesus Christ, as He is the one and only mediator between God and men.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### and her upcoming meeting. Lord, we pray that You will grant her the wisdom and discernment needed to navigate this situation in a manner that honors You. Guide her words and actions, and may Your will be done in this meeting. Help her to stay pure and chaste minded as she considers the relationship.
We also pray for the young man she will be meeting. We ask that You would soften his heart and draw him closer to You. May this meeting be a testament to Your love and grace, and may it serve as an opportunity for both individuals to grow in their faith.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would protect our ### and guide her steps. May she be a shining light for You, and may Your presence be felt in this meeting.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Let us encourage our ### to put on "the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand." Ephesians 6:13 WEB. Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
