To be reassured by God

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please kindly uplift prayer requests on my heart; and pray for I to be reassured in today's medical appointment, and for driving safety, in Jesus Name. Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry for reassurance and safety, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting these concerns before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Without the name of Jesus, our prayers would have no foundation, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank you for invoking His name, for it is the power of His resurrection that brings us peace and confidence in every circumstance.

Father God, we come before You today with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine reassurance to surround our dear brother/sister as they prepare for their medical appointment. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would calm any anxiety or fear that may be present in their heart. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they will walk into that appointment with confidence, knowing that You are with them, guiding the hands of the medical professionals and ordering every step of this day according to Your perfect will.

Lord, we also lift up their safety as they travel to and from this appointment. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would place Your angels around them, encamping about them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Protect them from any harm or danger on the road, and grant them alertness, wisdom, and patience as they drive. Let Your presence go before them, making their way smooth and secure (Isaiah 45:2). We rebuke any spirit of fear or distraction that may seek to interfere with their journey, and we declare that they will arrive safely and return home in peace.

Father, we also pray for a spirit of trust to fill their heart. In a world that often feels uncertain, help them to remember that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Your promises are true, and Your love never fails. Even if the outcome of this appointment is not what they hope for, remind them that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Give them the strength to surrender their worries to You, knowing that You care for them deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Let them feel Your arms of comfort wrapped around them, whispering words of hope and encouragement into their spirit.

Lord, we also take a moment to rebuke any lies of the enemy that may be trying to steal their peace. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your Word, which says that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Let them feel Your nearness in a tangible way today, Lord. Let them know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that You are with them, for You have said, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear one, we want to encourage you with the truth that God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). He knows the plans He has for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Even in moments of uncertainty, He is working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail for your good. You are not alone in this. The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want. He makes you lie down in green pastures. He leads you beside still waters. He restores your soul (Psalm 23:1-3). Let these words sink deep into your heart today. You are deeply loved, and God’s got you. Walk in that truth, and let it carry you through this day and beyond.

We understand the knot that forms in your stomach when you're heading into a medical appointment, and how every worry can feel magnified when you're behind the wheel. It's completely normal to feel this tug of anxiety, these moments touch on our deep need for safety and well-being. You're not alone in this, and it's okay to name what you need: simple reassurance from God.

Something that can help ground you today is to take the appointment one step at a time. Before you go, write down any questions you have for your doctor so they're out of your head and on paper. If the driving feels daunting, try pausing for a quiet moment in the parked car before you start up, just a slow breath, acknowledging God is with you in that seat. These aren't complicated things, but they can anchor us when our minds want to race ahead.

Thank you for letting us carry these requests with you. We're praying now:

Lord Jesus, settle our friend's heart right where they are. In the waiting room, let them sense Your steady presence. Give the medical team clear eyes and wise judgment. For the drive there and back, grant an alert mind, calm hands, and safe passage. Wrap them in Your peace that doesn't make sense against the circumstances, but holds firm all the same. Amen.

Please kindly uplift prayer requests on my heart; and pray for I to be reassured in today's medical appointment, and for driving safety, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Lord, we lift this person up to You. I pray that You look after their heart. I pray that You protect this person with a shield that protects them from all evil, seen & unseen in Jesus name. No weapon formed against them shall prosper in Jesus name. I plead the blood of Jesus over them. I pray that You surround Your angels over this person in Jesus name.

Lord, I pray that You reassure them that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). I pray that You remind them of the promises of Your Word, especially when their faith shakes. I pray that You help their unbelief. By His stripes, you are healed in the name of Jesus.

Lord, I pray that You protect them when they're driving. Watch over them Lord. I command any spirit of death to go right now in the name of Jesus. I command any spirit of confusion to leave right now in the name of Jesus. I command any spirit of fear to leave right now in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, look after Your child & thank You that You are faithful, so that we can trust You. In Jesus mighty name, amen

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. The very fact that you cry out for reassurance is itself a token of the Spirit’s work within you. He who put the desire for peace into your heart has already undertaken to supply it; the hunger after comfort is God’s pledge that comfort is near. Remember this: our Lord does not quench the smoking flax nor break the bruised reed. If your faith feels faint as a wick barely burning, He will breathe upon it with gentle grace until it flames again. The sigh that trembles on your lips for His help is a prayer He will never despise.

The fount of all true comfort is the Word of God. When the soul is quickened by that living Word, then affliction is met with a consolation that defies circumstance. This is my comfort in mine affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. The outward letter of promise becomes an inward power when the Holy Spirit applies it to your heart. Take hold then of a specific pledge: cast your care for the medical appointment upon Him who numbers your very hairs and who knows every hidden ailment of your frame. Cast your care for the road upon Him who holds the winds in His fist and guides your every step. He maketh the tempest a calm, and He can make your heartbeat steady beneath His sovereign hand.

There is tender safety here: God will not suffer you to be tempted or tried above what you are able. The burning fear that comes with waiting is measured by a faithful Father who knows your frame. He who permits the trial also provides the way to bear it, and often the roundabout way of quickening is the straight road to comfort. You shall forget this misery as waters that pass away; the very recollection of your trembling will be swallowed by the mercy that carried you through. Look not for comfort merely from an easy outcome, but from the One who is Himself your portion and your shield. Christ knows all your need, He proved His omniscient love when He met His erring disciple with that searching yet restoring question. That same eye is upon you now, full of pity, ready to sustain.

Be of good comfort then. Your faith may be feeble, but your Saviour is mighty. The anchor has been cast, and it holds fast within the veil. Rest in the character of your God, who cannot lie. Though you are weak, He is faithful. He will undertake for you in the surgeon’s office and in the seat of the car alike. Therefore comfort one another with these words, and let your own soul be comforted by them, for He saith unto your sinking heart even now: It is I, be not afraid.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
