We lift up this dear brother in Christ who is facing uncertainty and concern after receiving troubling test results. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your healing touch and perfect peace to surround him during this time. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every cell of our bodies. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed, and we trust in Your promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Isaiah 53:5, Romans 8:28).
Lord, we ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and medical professionals involved in his care. Grant them wisdom, clarity, and discernment as they conduct further tests and interpret the results. Let every report and diagnosis align with Your will for his life, and may the outcome bring glory to Your name. We rebuke fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage this brother to draw near to You, Lord, in this season. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May he find comfort in Your Word, meditating on Your promises and resting in Your unfailing love. If there are areas in his life where he needs to surrender more fully to You—whether in his physical habits, emotional well-being, or spiritual walk—we pray that You would reveal them to him and give him the strength to walk in obedience.
Father, we stand on the truth that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We declare that this trial will not overcome him but will instead be used to strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You. May he emerge from this season with a testimony of Your faithfulness, ready to encourage others who may face similar battles.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). Amen.
