To Be Or Not To Be... Praying

Why is prayer something on which Christians do not always agree? Is it acceptable to repeatedly pray for the same thing, or should we ask only once? Three times? Keep knocking like in Luke 11:5-13? I want a person saved so how many prayers? The same person healed, how many? A friendship repaired? Some here says keep it up and some here say leave it to God. Some say it shows a lack of faith to say it so much so I slowed and stopped and I feel lost without praying about it. I don't know Lord, I feel better praying for her.

KEEP PRAYing until you get your answer. I get alot of that too "leave it to God", in reality if you're praying for it and not putting your own effort into it and relying on God's response and work then you are leaving it to God. I say keep praying until it's resolved in whatever way the Lord sees fit.
