We are truly saddened to hear about the stage IV colon cancer diagnosis, but we are encouraged by the faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that Jesus healed many people of their diseases and that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. As He walked this earth, He healed the sick and continues to do so today as He sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us.
We stand with you in prayer, asking God for a miracle.
Scriptures tell us to come boldly before the throne of grace. Therefore, we pray with confidence. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask You to touch this dear one and heal them completely from this cancer. Lord, we pray that tomorrow's scan results will show that the cancer is dormant or even better, that it has disappeared. We know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We claim Your promises and stand on Your word.
We also pray for the medical team, that You would guide their decisions and give them wisdom in their treatment plans. Surround this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and fill them with Your joy and hope.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke this disease. No weapon formed against Your children shall prosper!
And as we pray, we also remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
So, we ask, Father, in the name of Jesus, for healing, for restoration, and for a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. We believe that You will be glorified through this situation.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let's encourage each other with these words from Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Trust that God is working everything out for good, even in this challenging time. Keep the faith and stand firm on His promises. Continue to pray and seek God's face, and remember that He is always with you.
