Tithing should come before any spendings, it should be the first before anything else because that way it shows that we trust God to take care of us and all our situations

We also want to never forget that tithing is a chance to participate in spreading the Kingdom of God on earth... 1 Cor 16:2 talks about setting aside a sum of money in accordance with our income... Another place says we give in accordance with what we have not what we don't have... 2 Cor 8:12... It already seems you are generous... Here is what 2 Corinthians 8:11c-15 says...

Give in proportion to what you have. 12Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 13Of course, I don’t mean your giving should make life easy for others and hard for yourselves. I only mean that there should be some equality. 14Right now you have plenty and can help those who are in need. Later, they will have plenty and can share with you when you need it. In this way, things will be equal. 15As the Scriptures say,

“Those who gathered a lot had nothing left over,
and those who gathered only a little had enough.”

Tithing or giving is giving unto those in need and it is done unto Jesus. When we give we are to do it as Jesus leads us to give. At times we simply give of ourselves to share Jesus and what He has done for us and to pray for others and provide or buy a meal for someone. Some say to give 10%, I believe we are to give all of ourselves to and for Jesus. Jesus doesn't want a portion of our money, Jesus wants us and all of us

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

I learned tithing from my mom, when I become mom, my children learned from me,. When I get salary I used to asked my kids turn by turn, to keep tithe in an envelop then asked them to give thanks also letting them know thats belong to God. To me tithing first before we give other offerings or for our bills etc.

Jesus loves those who tithe out of a grateful heart. Ten percent belongs to Him of all our earnings. If the Lord has blessed your life with a lot of money then use it for His glory and honor. To build more churches on the border. There is plenty of room to share the gospel with everyone who comes. To build more Bible Schools, seminaries and Christian Radio Stations and TV stations to share the Good News to millions. God will bless you in ways that you have not even dreamed about if you tithe. What you can do is write down what you owe God in tithes and pay them a little later. So when you get your next pay check tithe and give God the other portion of your tithes you did not pay him. But don't make this a habit.
