Tired

We hear your cry of weariness and we stand with you in this season of exhaustion, lifting you up together before our Father in Jesus name. We are grateful that you have come to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and find mercy and help in time of need.

The Word reminds us that God sees our weariness and He does not grow tired of hearing us. Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Isaiah 40:29. And we are promised that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31.

We know circumstances can press heavily and make even the faithful feel overwhelmed, but God invites us to cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7. From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we lift up this weary one to You in the name of Jesus. You know the weight of every circumstance and the tiredness of heart and body. We ask for Your relief and Your rest to fall upon them. Renew their strength as they wait on You, quiet their anxious thoughts, and carry the burdens that feel too heavy to bear. Give them deep sleep, peace of mind, and the assurance that You are working even when they feel weak. Let them feel Your presence as their rock and refuge, and remind them that Your grace is sufficient and Your power is made perfect in weakness. Guide them to take needful rest, to seek Your face daily, and to trust You one day at a time. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every care to the Lord in prayer throughout the day, to rest in His Word, and to allow time for physical rest as well, trusting that He is your sustainer. Do not be weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up. Galatians 6:9. We are praying that God will lift this heavy weariness and fill you with His peace and renewed hope.

We hear how heavy this weariness feels, and we are grateful you reached out in Jesus' name. Carrying a lot of circumstances at once can leave anyone tired in body, mind, and heart, and it makes sense you are asking for relief.

We want you to know God sees that weariness. Hope in Him is not pretending everything is fine or that the weight isn't real. It is more like an anchor when everything feels unsteady - a quiet trust that He is still with you and still at work even while you feel worn down. Resilient hope often grows not by ignoring pain, but by being honest about it and still turning toward Him day by day.

When you can, it may help to name what is weighing on you most right now to one trusted person - a pastor, a close friend, or a family member who will listen and pray with you in person. You don't have to sort every circumstance at once. Sharing even one burden out loud can lighten the load a little and give others a chance to walk with you. Alongside prayer, if this tiredness continues or affects sleep, daily life, or health, it is wise to check in with a doctor or counselor as well.

Father, we lift our weary friend to You today. You know every circumstance causing this tiredness. Please give rest where rest is needed, wisdom for what to do next, and the comfort of knowing You are near. Sustain them day by day and renew their strength as they trust in You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your weariness has been heard, and there is a blessed word for such as you are. The Lord Jesus Himself says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

This rest is not a distant promise to be enjoyed only after death, but a present rest, given there and then when a soul comes to Jesus. It is perfect rest too, rest of the deepest and truest kind, rest which the world cannot give and which the world cannot take away. He says, I will give you rest, and that gift includes rest of mind and fixedness of belief, rest of conscience and rest of heart.

There is also a further rest for you to find. First He gives rest, and then He says, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. It is the rest of a learner at the Saviour's feet. Let but your mind be like the mind of Christ, and you shall find a deep rest, a growing rest, an abiding rest which you shall go on to find more and more. It is not the rest of carelessness or of laziness, for lazy people never know what rest means, but it is rest even in service, like birds that sleep upon the wing. It is rest to labour for the Lord Jesus.

We who have believed do enter into rest even now. This earth is not our full rest, for that remaineth to the people of God in glory, where rest shall be perfect and eternal, but even here the believer may rest in the Lord Himself, not merely in His gifts but in Himself. To rest in the Lord is to be content with His will and to trust Him with all your circumstances. Trust and you shall rest.

If you have for a while lost the enjoyment of this rest, hear the word of the psalmist, Return unto thy rest, O my soul, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. Your soul is delivered, your eyes are kept from tears, and your feet from falling, so you may rest and glorify God by resting.

We pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation and peace. May the Lord lift your burden as you lay it down where you laid your sin, at His cross. May He teach you to learn of Him and to find that quietness of soul which comes from union with Him. May He grant you relief according to His wisdom and sustain you in your circumstances, giving you strength for each day and a calm confidence that He is working all things for your good. May you know both the rest He gives when you come, and the rest you find as you walk with Him. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your weariness and your prayer for relief in the name of Jesus have been heard, and we join you in bringing your circumstances before the Lord.

Even faithful servants of God have known what it is to have no relief for a time in their spirit. The apostle Paul himself spoke of being distressed and afflicted while he waited and labored, and the disciples were once left to be tossed by waves through the night while the Lord seemed distant. Scripture shows us that God sometimes permits such seasons not because He has forgotten us, but to awaken our hearts and to train us in endurance, so that our trust may grow deeper and our hope may be set more firmly on Him.

There is a promise that remains for the people of God. There remains a rest, not only relief for a moment, but the true rest that is found in Christ. He invites those who are weary and heavy burdened to come to Him, and He gives comfort and peace. That rest is already ours by faith in Jesus Christ alone, and it will be complete when we are with Him.

We pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our only Savior. You see this weary heart and the circumstances that have brought this exhaustion. We ask for Your mercy and relief according to Your wisdom and love. Grant rest for the soul, strength for today, and peace that guards the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help to endure with patience, to keep hope set on You, and to know Your presence in the storm. Lead to renewed strength, wise steps forward, and the comfort of Your love and peace. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Do not lose heart. Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, and lean on the fellowship of faithful believers around you. If weariness continues to weigh heavily, reach out to a trusted pastor or mature believer for ongoing prayer and care. The God of love and peace is with those who trust Him, and He will not leave you without the grace you need for each day.
