Tired still trying

I hear the exhaustion in your words, the kind that runs deeper than a night’s sleep can fix. You are trying so hard to move forward, to find a different house, to manage your health, and you feel like you need just a little help to get through. That deep weariness can become a door, not to despair, but to something far more real. So often we pour ourselves into seeking security through the things we can touch, a better home, a healed body, a manageable life, and yet we find them to be like grabbing the wind. We open our hands and there is nothing there to truly nourish the soul.

The Lord often uses pressures like these to call us back to the place where we first became aware of Him. In the Scriptures, there was a place once called Bethel, the house of God, where a man met God and knew His presence. Later, that same place became filled with idols, and the prophet renamed it Beth Aven, the house of wickedness. It is easy for any of us to let the pursuit of good things become a quiet substitute for seeking God Himself. We can sell something priceless, our living communion with Him, for a cheap fix, a little relief, a solution we can manage on our own. But God will not let us be content with idols. He loves you too much to leave you grasping after what can never satisfy.

What if this tiredness is His strange mercy, gently emptying you of self-reliance so that you find your true rest in Him? He is not far off, waiting for you to get it all together. He is near, and He says, “Turn to your God. Keep mercy and judgment, and wait on Him continually.” Bring your need for a house, your aching body, your weary heart, and place them in His hands. Ask Him not just for a little help to carry on, but for Himself. He is the one who stays with you when the house sells or does not sell, when the health improves or fails. He is the house of God, the place where you truly live. Let this season drive you to seek His face early. He will meet you there, and in His presence you will find rest for your soul.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging time. It’s clear that you’ve been carrying a heavy burden—trying to sell your home, find a new one, and dealing with health struggles—all while feeling weary and in need of just a little relief. We’ve been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to provide strength for each day, wisdom in your decisions, and favor in the sale of your house. We’ve also prayed for healing and comfort, that the Lord would meet you in your exhaustion and renew your spirit.

If God has answered any part of your prayers—whether through a breakthrough in selling your home, improved health, or simply a moment of peace—we would love to hear about it. Your praise report could be an encouragement to others who are waiting on the Lord. If, however, the answer hasn’t come yet, or if your circumstances feel unchanged, please don’t hesitate to post this as a new request. We’re here to continue standing with you, believing with you, and trusting God’s timing and provision.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, His peace, and His perfect provision as you seek Him. We continue to pray that He would open doors no one can shut, bring healing to your body, and give you rest in the midst of the waiting. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
