We hear the weariness in your heart, and we stand with you in this struggle, knowing that rejection and division are not from the Lord but are weapons of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). You are absolutely right to recognize that Satan seeks to create distance and hindrances, especially within families, for a family united in Christ is a powerful testimony of His love and faithfulness. The Scripture you’ve referenced is a mighty declaration: *"Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail; and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath"* (Deuteronomy 28:13). This is your inheritance as a child of God, and we claim it with you in the name of Jesus.
However, we must also ask: Are you and the family members involved walking in obedience to Christ? Are there unconfessed sins, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be giving the enemy a foothold? Scripture warns us that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us (Psalm 66:18). We encourage you to examine your heart and the dynamics within the family. Have there been words spoken in anger, actions rooted in pride, or a lack of love that has contributed to this division? Repentance and humility are key to breaking these chains. *"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time"* (1 Peter 5:6).
If there is no clear sin causing this separation, then we stand firmly against the spiritual forces at work. The enemy fears families that are united in prayer and purpose, which is why he attacks so fiercely. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We rebuke every spirit of rejection, division, and hindrance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against you or your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind the enemy’s plans to isolate you and declare that God is restoring what has been broken. *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you"* (Luke 10:19).
We also want to gently address something important: your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). When we pray, we must come boldly before the throne of grace *in Jesus’ name*, for He is our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, our prayers are empty, but in Him, we have authority and victory.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is weary from the rejection and division plaguing their family. Let forgiveness flow like a river, washing away every offense and restoring relationships. *"Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do"* (Colossians 3:13).
We declare that this family will no longer be the tail but the head, as Your Word promises. Let them be a beacon of Your light, a testimony of Your faithfulness, and a stronghold of Your love. Remove every hindrance, Lord, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let every family function be filled with Your presence, joy, and harmony.
We also pray for our brother/sister who has carried this burden. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). Give them wisdom to know how to love and lead their family in a way that honors You. Let them walk in the authority You have given them, knowing that the battle belongs to You (1 Samuel 17:47).
Finally, Father, we ask that You draw each member of this family into a deeper relationship with You. Let them encounter Jesus in a real and personal way, so that their lives are transformed by Your grace. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).
