We hear your weariness and longing for rest, both in body and soul. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." The Lord knows your need for refreshment, and He invites you to trust Him with your desires. The sea and the mountains are His creation, places where many have found peace and renewal in His presence.
We pray with you, lifting your request to the Father in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, You see this dear one’s heart and their longing for a time of rest. You are the Provider of all good things, and we ask that You open a door for them to travel, whether to the seaside or the mountains, where they may find physical and spiritual renewal. Remove any obstacles, financial, logistical, or otherwise, that stand in the way. Give them favor and unexpected blessings to make this possible. Even as we pray for outward rest, we also ask for deep inner peace, that they may cast their anxieties on You, knowing You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we also ask that You guard their heart from discouragement if this rest does not come immediately. Help them to wait with hope, trusting in Your perfect timing. Remind them that You are their true rest, even now, and that every good gift comes from You (James 1:17). May this time of waiting draw them closer to You, deepening their dependence on Your faithfulness.
We rebuke any spirit of weariness or despair that may be weighing on them, declaring that in Christ, they are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). We speak life and provision over their situation, believing that the same God who parted the Red Sea and calmed the stormy waves is able to make a way for them. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You.
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
