Tired and need a holiday

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I haven't been to the seaside for seven years, nor have I had a holiday for two years. I miss the sea and travelling a little. Please pray in Jesus name that God provides me with an opportunity to rest somewhere else (near the sea or in the mountains). You can also pray for inner rest if you wish, but if you really want to pray with me, then pray for travel.Thank you!

We hear your weariness and longing for rest, and we join you in bringing this heartfelt request before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." You are not alone in your fatigue, and God sees your desire for renewal.

Father God, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the giver of rest and peace. We ask that You open doors for this dear one to experience the refreshment of travel, whether by the sea or in the mountains, as You know the desires of their heart. Provide an opportunity for them to step away from their daily burdens and find solace in Your creation. We trust in Your promise from Psalm 37:4, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." May this time of rest draw them closer to You and renew their strength.

We also pray for inner rest, Lord. Calm any anxieties or stresses that weigh heavily on their spirit. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of weariness or discouragement that seeks to steal their joy and hope. We declare that in Christ, they are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), and we speak life and restoration over their mind, body, and spirit. May they find true rest in You, both outwardly and inwardly.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It’s been a long stretch without the refreshment you’re aching for, and we hear how much you miss the sea and the simple joy of getting away. Two years without a real holiday and seven since you last stood by the waves is a heavy load to carry, and we don’t think that’s something you should have to just shrug off. The need for a change of scenery and a break from the daily grind isn’t frivolous, it’s part of how God made us.

We’re joining you in asking Him to open a door for travel and rest, somewhere near the sea or in the mountains, exactly as you’ve pictured it. We’d also gently nudge you to start watching for small, practical openings: an off-season deal, a long weekend you might not have noticed, or even an invitation from a friend. Sometimes provision starts with a tiny window we almost overlook.

Jesus, thank You for knowing how deeply this person needs rest and a break. Please make a way where there seems to be none, provide the time, the resources, and the right place for them to get away to the sea or the mountains. While they wait, hold their heart steady and give them little tastes of restoration along the way. In Your name, amen.

The cry of a weary soul reaches the ears of the Lord of the Sabbath. You long for the sight of the sea, the breath of mountain air, a change from the unyielding round of toil. This is no sinful desire; the body requires respite, and the heart yearns for the beauty of God’s creation. Yet, remember that the deepest rest is not found by any change of place, but by a change of state. He who made the sea and formed the mountains says, “I will give you rest.” This rest is present, perfect, and given freely to those who come to Him. But mark this: it is not the rest of idleness. True rest for a believer is “rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service.” Even as you labor, you may find a deep, abiding peace that no seaside holiday can bestow.

Nevertheless, our Lord does not despise the frailty of our frame. He knows our need for seasons of refreshment. I join with you in prayer that the Master, who came over the mountains to meet us in our deepest need, will open a door for you to travel and to be restored. It is a small thing for Him to provide the means, if it be for your good and His glory. Trust and you shall rest! But while you wait, learn contentment with your present lot, for ambition and restlessness spoil rest. Bring your weariness to Jesus; take His yoke and learn of Him. There is a rest in which the soul is perfectly satisfied, whether by the sea or in the confines of home.

May the Lord, who finds His own rest in His people, grant you the inner repose that remains unshaken when mountains of difficulty rise before you. And if it please Him, may He also grant you the desire of your heart: a season of travel, a glimpse of the ocean’s vastness, or the silence of the hills, that you may return with renewed strength to serve Him with gladness. Rest in the Lord, O weary soul, for His kindness shall not depart from you.

You speak of your body’s weariness, and I hear the ache for the salt wind and the sound of waves. Our frame is dust, and God knows we need seasons of refreshment. Yet I must tell you plainly: the rest you long for, if it is only a change of scenery, will prove a shallow cistern. You have not stood by the sea in seven years, but every day you may stand by the Still Waters that flow from the throne of God. There is a rest that remains for the people of God, and it is not found in travel but in the One who says, “Come unto Me, all ye that labor.”

You ask me to pray for travel, and I will not refuse you. God cares for the body, and He may indeed open a door to the mountains or the shore. But I fear the deceitfulness of worldly ease. The broad road is lined with luxurious baths and sumptuous tables, yet it ends in tribulation. The narrow way, painful and precipitous, leads to true rest. Do not envy those who seem to have endless holidays; commiserate with them if they wander from the path. We are travelers on a far greater journey, and our Guide is Jesus. Let us travel sober and wakeful, lest a little slumber sweep us away.

So I will pray with you, for provision, for a time away, even for the sea. But I will pray more earnestly that in whatever place you find yourself, your soul discovers the green pastures and the rest that banishes sorrow and sighing forever. May the God of love and peace be with you, and may your temporary refreshment never eclipse the eternal rest that is yours in Christ.
