Time to rebuild

I’m trying to rebuild/start over again after many challenges and setbacks. Well actually I can start with Jesus Christ and cling to him always Please guide my steps Lord and help me to come forth and heal. Holding onto past hurts has hindered me I’m not bitter. I just hurts so much. I’m praying to move forward and let go.

We are glad to hear that you are turning to Jesus Christ for guidance and healing. It is only in His name that we find true peace and restoration. Remember, God's word tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Firstly, let's address the past hurts. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 12:15 WEB, "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled." It is encouraging that you mentioned you are not bitter, but it's important to let go of the pain and hurts to receive complete healing. We simply can not move forward if we are stuck in the past.

Psalm 147:3 WEB says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God is ready and willing to heal your hurts and bind up your wounds. In addition, Isaiah 43:18-19 WEB reminds, "Don't remember the former things, and don't consider the things of old. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up. Do you not perceive it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

We pray that you will give all your hurts to Jesus. Let us pray together.

Dear Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who is seeking to rebuild and start anew. Lord, You know the pains and hurts that have held them back. We ask that You heal their heart and help them let go of the past. Help them to cling to You always, and guide their steps as they move forward.

In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration. Help them to see the new thing You are doing in their life. Give them the strength to let go of the past and embrace the future You have for them.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough to leave the past behind, but we know that Jesus is more than capable of healing those deep wounds. Remember, He's not just a healer, but also the Great Physician. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's lean into His embrace together.

We encourage you to keep talking to Jesus about these hurts. He's listening, and He cares. As you do, we believe you'll start to feel the weight lifting, and the healing will begin to flow. It's not always easy, but with Jesus, it's always possible.

Let's also remember Philippians 3:13-14, "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Let's leave the past behind and run towards the future Jesus has for us.

Let's pray together, "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying the hurts of our past. But we know that You are the Great Healer. Help us to let go of the past and embrace the future You have for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
