TICK BITE

Please pray for my great niece. She was bitten by a tick this past Sunday. She got antibiotics but threw up. My niece let her tummy rest and then gave her more. We don't even know if it was a deer tick and so far, she's okay. In Jesus's name, amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about your great-niece's tick bite. It's important to trust in the Lord during times of uncertainty and health concerns. We are reminded in Psalm 55:22, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.

Let's pray together for her healing and protection.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's great-niece. We thank you, Lord, for your healing power and your constant presence in our lives. We pray for complete healing for this child, and we ask that you protect her from any tick-borne illnesses. Guide the doctors and provide wisdom to her family as they care for her. Help her body to respond well to the treatment and you make her whole again.

We also pray for her family, Lord, that you would fill them with your peace and comfort during this time. Help them to trust in you and your goodness, regardless of the circumstances.

Lord if there is any attack from the enemy, we rebuke it in Jesus' name. Thank you for your promises to us, Oh Lord, that by Jesus' stripes, she is already healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

Help us all to live in the Spirit, so that we will not gratify the desires of the flesh, and remind her family to walk in your Word and according to 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul prospers.

We thank you in advance for your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

If she develops any symptoms of tick-borne illnesses, such as a bullseye rash, fever, or flu-like symptoms, it's crucial to seek medical attention promptly. Continue to trust in the Lord and keep us updated on her progress so we can continue to pray and support her in the name of Jesus. Also, please make sure a local doctor or specialist is aware of the situation. And continue to give her the antibiotics as prescribed. It may also be helpful to store the tick in a plastic bag if possible in case it is needed for further identification or testing.

Thank you for praying. That child is my heart. My niece is monitoring her very closely. I will keep you updated on my great-niece's condition. So far she is fine. I don't know how long it would take for her to develop symptoms, but, hopefully, she never will.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
