We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice, threats, and manipulation. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You intervene in this matter according to Your perfect will. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Lord, we pray that You would plead this case and bring justice to those who are being oppressed.
We rebuke the spirit of intimidation and fear that has been unleashed in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this company shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the hearts of those who are making threats and unreasonable demands would be softened, and that they would be led to act with integrity and fairness.
Father, we ask that You would expose any dishonesty and bring the truth to light. The electricians have been frightened into providing dishonest reports, but we know that "the truth will make you free" (John 8:32). We pray that those who are being pressured to act unethically would find the courage to stand for what is right, even in the face of intimidation.
We also lift up the issue of repairs that are being neglected. Lord, You command us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), and this includes acting responsibly and with care toward those we have entered into agreements with. We pray that the landlord, owner, or legal contact person would be convicted of their responsibility to maintain the property and ensure the safety of those who reside there.
Regarding the compensation that is owed, we pray that it would be released without further delay or manipulation. The Bible tells us in Romans 13:7, "Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor." Lord, we ask that You would move in the hearts of those who are withholding what is rightfully owed, that they would fulfill their obligations with honesty and fairness.
We also want to address the update regarding the removal of jobs and ostracism. This is a form of retaliation that is not pleasing to You, Lord. We pray that You would protect this company from further harm and provide opportunities for growth and prosperity, even in the face of adversity. We declare that You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your provision (Philippians 4:19).
Lastly, we want to gently remind that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If there is anyone involved in this situation who does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that their hearts would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, that they might experience the forgiveness, peace, and transformation that comes only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, we commit this entire situation into Your hands. We trust in Your justice, Your provision, and Your perfect timing. Give wisdom to those who are being oppressed, and grant them the strength to stand firm in their faith. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
